Weekend away
We had a great stay at the farmhouse! It was very comfortable and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed including a fenced yard and tennis balls for the pups. My toddler really enjoyed the chickens and peacocks and walking around the pond. Everyone liked sitting on the back porch. Proximity to town was very convenient but felt miles away from the crowds downtown. Would recommend, especially for big groups.

Lovely stay
We had a nice stay here during the eclipse. We cooked for 10 for every meal and the kitchen had everything we needed except tupperware/storage for leftovers. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. Property manager was very responsive to our many questions.

Just as described
It's a cute old farm house. The outdoor space is fantastic, and we spent most of our time outdoors hanging out with the dogs (ours) and chickens (the house's). Really an amazing time!

Everything was very nice and the owner was very responsive to any issues that we had. You might need to note that the upstairs bedroom in the guest house has no bathroom and you have to go down stairs outside to access the bathroom in the other bedroom in the guesthouse. We were not expecting this. Overall, very nice.

Fredericksburg Getaway
Great property for a family getaway (all adults) ... very near Fredericksburg and easy access to wineries, but far enough away to relax and avoid the crowds. Perfect for what we were looking for.

Rustic Awesomeness
Very nice, old style but updated house. We really enjoyed our stay. The only failure was the weather, but staying inside an older house during the rain made us all forget about it. Highly recommend staying there.

Girls trip
There were 10 of us and we had a blast. The property was gorgeous. Some of the ladies took walks around the property and others sat by the dock and just enjoyed the serenity of it all. The pond was so clear you could see all the fish and turtles. Such a great visit.

Large old farmhouse
Our extended family enjoyed staying in this large old farmhouse for our 4 day reunion. The location is rural yet is a 10 minute drive from downtown Fredericksburg. The house was equipped with everything we needed although you had to search the kitchen to find the item you were looking for. The 3 largest bedrooms have private baths, leaving one large bathroom to be shared by everyone else. But we made it work. Really enjoyed the huge backyard with its arbor-covered patio and large pond with gazebo.

Excellent family home
We had a lovely stay. The house is big and roomy. There were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. Caught a nice size bass at the pond. Saw a litter of baby beavers. We played card games and then enjoyed gazing at the stars. Short drive to town for dining and shopping. It was a wonderful trip.

A homey farmhouse with room for all situated on a beautiful property far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel like a quiet exclusive retreat yet within short range of Main Street to enjoy its shopping, dining, and wine tasting (of course!).

Family Spring Brek Vacation.
This was a great house since we had kids. The playground was perfect for them and they loved watching the ducks and peacocks. Deer were in the field in the mornings which we all loved watching. Plenty of beds and baths for the 9 of us!

Perfect getaway!
This property was the perfect place for myself and our friends. It’s so homey, the backyard was beautiful & the property owners were wonderful and always ready to answer my million questions! Farmhouse Getaway
Perfect for our family. Something for every age! Peacocks, ducks, fish and more! Every kid caught a bass and were shown how to release by the oldest grandson. Played ball, corn hole and ate s’mores l. We will be back❤️

Just awesome!
We had extended family(11 total) that stayed at your place to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. The accommodations were superb and the fishing / fire pit were an added bonus! Great location near all the acitivites of main street Fredericksburg!

Time on the farm
This property was a great place to get away from the every day. We had three toddlers. They loved the chickens, ducks and peacocks. There was a great tree house and play set outside. The house was very clean and had all the items that we needed. Wi-Fi was not great but that wasn’t why we came. There were some bugs in the upper room of the Sunday House but the property mgr planned to address. We would definitely stay again.

Property was great for an extended family weekend and celebration. It was very clean, had everything you could need in a VRBO listing. There was an issue with the A/C and someone came that same day to fix it which was really appreciated. We will probably try and stay again if we do a similar trip!!

Excellent stay
This place is a gem!! I mile away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and so relaxing. Plenty, plenty of space. My granddaughter loved feeding the fish in the pond and just being outside. You can chill on either the front or back porch. Loved it and hope to be returning.

Lovely!
We had a great time over Memorial Weekend. It was two families with 5 kiddos between us. The property is perfect for a family getaway. That back yard is fenced in, which is a plus. The kids enjoyed watching the ducks, chickens amd peacocks. The Farmhouse is charming and very comfortable. Now, we are planning an adult getaway!

20th Wedding Anniversary
This was one of the nicest VRBO's I have ever stayed and I use VRBO several times a year. The property and house were adorable and very well maintained. We had all adults BUT this would be ideal for a family. Will book again!!!!!

Great in-town get-away
You’ll enjoy a farm setting on a relaxing pond. Activities for almost any age. The children caught fish in the pond. Loved the fenced backyard with a playset for kids to climb, swing and slide. Very relaxing! Great host!

The Goonies Weekend
5 old couples had a very much needed relaxing weekend. The weather cooperated, too! Snuck off to do a little shopping and a few went over to the museum. Enjoyed the fire pit. My favorite thing was watching the Peacock and Peahen and the ducks and chickens. Great time!

Family fun - toddlers and teenagers
We had a great time at the farm house. The toddlers looked at the chickens while our teen fished in the pond a lot. There are plenty of bass and pan fish in the pond. The yard is great for little kids since it’s fenced in and has a swing set. It’s very close to town.

Such a great place! Our family spent the weekend and there was plenty room to relax and feel comfortable in. The catch and release pond was a huge hit. I thought the added touches were quite nice...a bottle of wine, jars of jam and even wood for the fire pit which was our hangout spot every night. Will certainly be returning

Perfect family getaway!!
My family absolutely loved this place!! Lots of fishing, visiting and back porch sitting! My grandchildren never wanted to go anywhere else!! They grilled each night and made s’mores at the fire pit! This little farmhouse was a welcome piece of Heaven during this crazy year of 2020!! We definitely plan to go back soon!!

Beautiful farmhouse with plenty of space
Our group of 8 really enjoyed the home and property. There was plenty of space for us, having 4 bathrooms was amazing and the Sunday house was perfect. We loved the fire pit and backyard deck with grill, and fire starter, charcoal, wood was provided. The chickens running around really made it feel authentic. It was close to Main Street and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking but we were able to manage. Overall great stay and would come back again!

Great Place
We had a great time with friends during our stay. The house is old but well maintained, the kitchen has new appliances, coffee, creamer, sweetener and all the great stuff so you can cook anything you need. The pond outside is so beautiful and an amazing view to eat your breakfast in the morning while enjoying your coffee. We had issues with the internet, but assistance has been provided and the responsible was very quick and proactively offered to stop by to check it out .

Wonderful place!
We had an amazing week at this charming farmhouse. We had a large family group and it was perfect for us. We loved having the swing set and crib for our daughter and even in August, it was so pleasant to have breakfast and dinner on the deck with the shade and peaceful view. Patricia went out of her way to make sure the property would work for our needs, and it did. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful home and perfect getaway
The home is so cute, and sits on a wonderful private property. It truly is a perfect spot for a getaway. The kitchen is a little small for large groups, but the house was very well kept.

If you are looking for a family friendly place, look no further. It has everything you need.
Patricia Was amazing. She answered every question we had very promptly and the house was everything we expected. Very close to downtown but far enough away to enjoy the stars at night. The kids loved to watch the farmers move around property and the inner workings of a farm. Thank you Patricia we will be back.
