«This was our first stay at the Guanahani, after having previously stayed at another perfectly lovely hotel in St Barth's, and we could not have been happier. «The beach is gorgeous and the staff are fantastic. Good selection of non-motorised water sports, bed is comfy and the free minibar (soft drinks only) is a nice touch. Only reasons for 4 not 5 star rating was that I thought the on site restaurants were a little over priced for the food as were the drinks, and shower gels etc we’re not replenished (minor touch I appreciate). »

«We had a great week at the Simpson Bay Resort. Very friendly staff, daily cleaning and all facilities close by. There are a lot of restaurants at the resort and in walking distance as well. We also joined a great boat trip departing from the pier at the resort. We needed to visit a doctor on a holiday and the General Manager of the resort assisted us immediately and was of great help. We appreciated his help a lot as we did not know where to find medical help.»

«Great two day stay after a weeks sailing at the Antigua sailing week. Very close to some of the best beaches on Antigua. Nice rooms, terraces (would definetely choose terrace/balcony over private plunge pool; better views). Carmichaels restaurant nice for romantic meals. Food average plus.»

«The property great! We stayed on the adult side with the swim out and everything was top notch. The only downside was the food. The food was 5/10 at best. Check if they have water and working toilets
"We arrived this hotel in Guadeloupe after 18 hrs travel only to be informed after check in that the hotel did not have access to fresh water, showers or working toilets in any of the rooms. We stayed 3 days in 30 degrees in rooms with no access to shower, water or toilets. This due local strike. One toilet available in the reception 150 meters from room for all guests to share. The hotel didnt have water since one week before our arrival but did not notify us and since pre paid we were not allowed to change hotel. We were not offered any compensation but we were given bottles of water to drink."
