«Wonderfully tranquil hotel. A million dollar view. Few issues with ants in the balcony. Some communication issues - I was promised an invoice by email but nothing was sent. Additionally, I was charged for 4 breakfasts instead of 3. The staff said they were “unable” to credit my card for the additional breakfast,?which seemed strange to me. Very helpful staff and attentive to requests.»

Vi hadde bestilt studio med havutsikt,men ble oppgradert til studio med havutsikt og loft,fantastist romselig rom med stor veranda med utsikt utover sjøen og bukta. «Great place, amazing views. Only real problem is wifi in rooms, we had no wifi even if reception said it should be. We had to go out of the room to get a minor signal. Beach towels far from pool, and it takes forever to check in and out. Other than that it was a good place to stay with some decent restaurants in the area. Supermarked close by.»

«Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, great view. We had a large studio with a kitchenette. It was perfect. Nice large bathroom too. We were there during shoulder season and the price was fantastic. The pool is huge and was very clean. We pretty much had it to ourselves. It's a few flights of stairs down to the pool, or you can drive. A flight of stairs down from the office and a short walk around the JW Marriott and you're at the beach. I would say you probably want to rent a car as most things ...

«We had a great week at the Simpson Bay Resort. Very friendly staff, daily cleaning and all facilities close by. There are a lot of restaurants at the resort and in walking distance as well. We also joined a great boat trip departing from the pier at the resort. We needed to visit a doctor on a holiday and the General Manager of the resort assisted us immediately and was of great help. We appreciated his help a lot as we did not know where to find medical help.»

Check if they have water and working toilets
"We arrived this hotel in Guadeloupe after 18 hrs travel only to be informed after check in that the hotel did not have access to fresh water, showers or working toilets in any of the rooms. We stayed 3 days in 30 degrees in rooms with no access to shower, water or toilets. This due local strike. One toilet available in the reception 150 meters from room for all guests to share. The hotel didnt have water since one week before our arrival but did not notify us and since pre paid we were not allowed to change hotel. We were not offered any compensation but we were given bottles of water to drink."
