«This stay was a mixed bag for our group of 4 kids aged 6-15 and 5 adults. Our check in process was not smooth but the owner was apologetic and tried to make it right. And I feel for the owners because I am sure the issues are not so much neglect as not completing repairs after the hurricane. Still, the pictures do not reflect the current state of the home. «We stayed at Bleue Emurade for two week and had a wounderful time at st. martin and at this lovely hotell. The hotel lays at a quiet beach. You have a five minute walk to the gourmet restaurants in Grand Baie were the serve fantastic food. The room was clean, very nicely decorated, and with a fantastic view from the balcony. «Rose is a wonderful hostess, and her staff are friendly and helpful also. The proximity to the quiet and private beach with the reef so close, and the kayaks available made for a totally relaxing time, a totally safe environment. «Great place, amazing views. Only real problem is wifi in rooms, we had no wifi even if reception said it should be. We had to go out of the room to get a minor signal. Beach towels far from pool, and it takes forever to check in and out. Other than that it was a good place to stay with some decent restaurants in the area. Supermarked close by.»

«Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, great view. We had a large studio with a kitchenette. It was perfect. Nice large bathroom too. We were there during shoulder season and the price was fantastic. The pool is huge and was very clean. We pretty much had it to ourselves. It's a few flights of stairs down to the pool, or you can drive. Check if they have water and working toilets
"We arrived this hotel in Guadeloupe after 18 hrs travel only to be informed after check in that the hotel did not have access to fresh water, showers or working toilets in any of the rooms. We stayed 3 days in 30 degrees in rooms with no access to shower, water or toilets. This due local strike. One toilet available in the reception 150 meters from room for all guests to share. The hotel didnt have water since one week before our arrival but did not notify us and since pre paid we were not allowed to change hotel. We were not offered any compensation but we were given bottles of water to drink."
