Of course, you will have to put up with the screaming children on the plane ride to and from the island unless you fly private. Also, for boat charters, this is a convenient location. For both of these reasons, this resort beats Jumby Bay. Jumby Bay actually tries to attract families with childrens' programs and, boats won't go all the way to Jumby Bay for charters ...

«Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! We would definitely recommend staying at Pagua Bay House on a trip to Dominica.»

«We stayed at Bleue Emurade for two week and had a wounderful time at st. martin and at this lovely hotell. The hotel lays at a quiet beach. You have a five minute walk to the gourmet restaurants in Grand Baie were the serve fantastic food. The room was clean, very nicely decorated, and with a fantastic view from the balcony. Vi hadde bestilt studio med havutsikt,men ble oppgradert til studio med havutsikt og loft,fantastist romselig rom med stor veranda med utsikt utover sjøen og bukta. Our room faced the ocean and we enjoyed breakfast on our patio every morning. The beach and water are incredible. Mike is a wonderful host, having lived there for 20 years he has great recommendations and will help with any car or tour recommendations.»
