FishTales is the perfect spot to slow down and soak up the simple pleasures: peaceful water, lots of bird sightings, and meaningful time with family and friends. Take the kayaks—both adult and kid-sized—for a paddle and explore the lake at your own pace.

Bringing your furry friend? We’re dog-friendly, so your pup can enjoy the adventure too!

Looking for a little more action? Jet ski and boat rentals are just a few miles away, so you can turn up the excitement whenever you’re ready.

This spacious 2,200 sq ft home comfortably sleeps 8, featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. With an open floor plan, generous dining space, and breathtaking water views from the kitchen, dining, and living areas, FishTales offers a relaxing retreat for friends and family. The large fenced backyard is perfect for outdoor fun, and garage access provides plenty of parking.

Key Features:

Fully equipped kitchen with double oven, electric stove, Keurig, coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, and a variety of spices. A large washer and dryer are conveniently located just off the kitchen.

Master bedroom: King-size bed with soft linens, large closet, luggage rack, large dresser, charging ports on each nightstand, and a 50" smart TV. Ensuite bathroom has been recently remodeled. There is a tub/shower combo with great water pressure and double sink.

Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed, desk, and 50" smart TV. Charging ports on both bedside lamps. A full bathroom is adjacent to kitchen, not ensuite.

Bedroom 3 (upstairs): 2 queen-size beds, 2 twin beds, ensuite bathroom, and a 40" TV.

Child-friendly amenities: We provide a pack and play, high chair, and kid-friendly cups, plates, and silverware.

Pet-Friendly: Bring your furry friends! We allow up to two dogs under 50 lbs for a small pet fee. Water and food bowls, special pet towels, bed, treats, and toys are provided. Please note that pet owners must clean up after their dogs in the front and backyard.

Fun & Relaxation:
FishTales has plenty to keep everyone entertained, indoors and out. Enjoy a wide selection of board games, or head outside for horseshoe, frisbee, football, or cornhole. For grilling, we provide a small charcoal grills, a gas grill, and a fire pit perfect for evening gatherings.

Lake Fun:
Enjoy the beauty of Fish Bay! We offer 3 adult kayaks and one child size, and numerous inflatable toys. We also provide adult and kid-sized life jackets (no guarantee on fit). Whether you're fishing off the dock (fish are always jumping!) or launching your own boat from the private neighborhood boat launch just around the corner, you’ll have access to plenty of lake fun.

BOATERS NOTE: You can tie up to our dock, but the boat lift is not available for use.

This is a quite neighborhood and there is a noise ordinance. No loud noise outdoors between 10pm-8am.
We are on a septic system -absolutely no wipes or anything other than toilet paper can be flushed. No food down kitchen drain, use the trash.
Do not go onto the neighbor's property or docks. The dock directly behind the house is for guests use.

Beautiful very clean home on the lake. Didn't need for anything other than food. Grocery store in Frankston had everything you need. Our host was very attentive. Beds were comfy and loved being on the lake with our boat. Definitely recommend and hope to go back some day.

Great location

We stayed for an extended weekend for a family member’s birthday. We brought our senior dog with us and they had all the supplies we needed for her (bedding, toys, blankets, dog treats). The fenced yard allowed our dog to roam and we didn’t have to worry about her going into other people’s yard. Even though the back yard is fenced, because it’s on a slope you can still see the lake perfectly from the back porch and all the back windows. The views from the windows to the lake were perfect. They have all the supplies you need to be on the water (towels, kayaks, fishing gear). We enjoyed visiting on the porch and sitting around the fire pit at night. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The neighborhood was nice, we took morning and evening walks. It was actually very quiet for being on the lake. Check in and check out process was easy! We would stay again!

Wonderful

The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Very pet friendly, our two Shih Tzus had so much fun running around in the yard. We could not have asked for a nicer place. Thank you for a delightful time!

Overall wonderful

We have rented many lake properties through the years because of our kids sports schedules. I have to say our stay here was one of the best, to fit our needs. The house is very clean and property well maintained. It is one of the best stocked kitchens we have been in. And tons of linen/towels. There were no issues with water pressure if multiple people were showering and dishwasher/laundry running. Septic system worked well, no soggy back yard. Backyard fenced for the dogs so they could not access the lake if you didnt want them too. If you have a water dog, there are no good steps for them get out of the lake. We brought our boat, parked at the top of driveway and had no issues. Boat ramp easy to access and there is a old dock to tie up if needed. We fished, swam, kayaked and tubed. We lucked out having cloudy weather so the uncovered dock wasn't a big deal. Tina responded quickly to any questions or needs!! We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Lakehouse

We had a great stay at Tina's lakehouse. The house was very clean and very spacious. She had a lot of little extras that you might not see at other short term rentals. There were ample water toys in the shed and the propery was great. We stayed with out dog and he loved thw fenced in backyard. We would definitely stay again.

Memorial Weekend '24

The house was very modern and well stocked with all of the little everyday needs, even for our 4 legged furry family members. Examples: plenty of towels, lots of shampoo choices, doggy treats! (We could have used some extra trash bags for the kitchen, only had the one in the trash can - but, no worries, store nearby saved the day!) Neighborhood was quiet, yard was big. Only complaints were that there had been rainy weather and storms prior to our arrival....I'm assuming that is why the cable was inconsistent and difficult to get the televisions to operate properly and the yard needed mowing. Wish there were some type of quaint local shops nearby rather than feeling like we were just in a country neighborhood. There were the regular fast food spots down the road (10-15 minutes) but when we travel we like to experience the local culture and cuisine. Overall, we had a great time and made new memories. Would definitely stay here again. THANK YOU

Decent house, not boat friendly

I booked this house because it had a boat dock and lift. The pictures depict a covered boat dock with a lift. The dock is not covered and the lift doesn’t work. In fact, the lift is in the way, making the boat dock unusable for a boat. The listing discussed renters can have the boat dock, without mentioning that renters can’t use the lift. I was unaware that the owners do not want renters to park their boat in the dock and use the lift. When I texted them about it, they said we could tie up to the side of the dock, which is not doable with any wind. This dock is located on the main lake without protection from wind and waves. It was very dangerous to try and tie up next to the dock without the ability to tie it inside the dock or lift up on the boat lift. Furthermore, the community boat ramp has a small pier that doesn’t have any cleats or anywhere to tie up to, which made it very difficult for one person to manage. There is no shore to pull up to, and no cleats to tie to. The lake was rough and made it difficult. This is why it was impactful to not have use of the boat dock and lift. This should have been disclosed on the listing and not a surprise after the fact. I would not have rented this house. The driveway is long and downhill with turns. It is not boat and boat trailer friendly. There was no outside outlet to plug in my boat and charge it. This rental was a waste of time and money for us. More trouble than it was worth.

Stellar rental experience!

What a wonderful rental! Simply a beautifully designed get-away, and Tina is an outstanding communicator and host. We stay in vrbo's frequently, and this is among our top stays, and the cleanest ever. As an example, even the spice containers, usually grimy in most rental kitchen cabinets, are spotless, and not just a mess of random jars renters have left. The large picture windows are so spotless, you might think there's no glass! Where does one find such a cleaning staff? Tina has put together a well planned home -- everything you could need is at your fingertips, plus a professional-caliber palette of colors and patterns based on an understated lake theme. The view of the shimmering lake is spectacular, and available from the living, dining and kitchen. Add to that a really cozy and comfortable patio, a fantastic grill, well-maintained boat dock, colorful kayaks, and lots of water sport paraphernalia. My husband caught fish right off of the dock! And, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that our sweet dog was welcomed like a king by the unexpected array of toys, treats, water bowl and even a bed! He enjoyed laying his head on the wide windowsills while watching squirrels. As if that's not enough, a fenced in yard was so appreciated! (When you love a dog, you know what I mean!) Lastly, this rental affords immense tranquility for your soul. Just sounds of birds and the water lapping on the dock -- you won't want/need your phone. Doesn’t get any better. Thank you, Tina!

This property is just as listed. I loved the double ovens. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Tina is a wonderful host. The bathrooms contained plenty of toiletries if needed. Will stay again

Exactly as advertised

We stayed here for a long weekend in October. The house was exactly as advertised. It was clean and well-kept, with more than enough room and supplies for our small family. The neighborhood was quiet, and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The host was quick to respond. The only complaint is that the lake was too cold for swimming! We would definitely stay here again.
