Friendly place, but low standard
Pros: friendly staff, location is near the Beach (althoug, no rental beds in that erea), roms are ok sized. Cons: dirty, sticky floor, one night we chased a cockroach around the room. The constant feeling of being wet, probably comes from and old air con, or old building.

Upon arrival on 05/03/2024 @3:30 pm room wasn’t ready, shower drainage was clogged, I reported it to the front desk, the plumber showed up on 05/04/2024 @ 9:40 pm claiming that he has 2 jobs and he could not take care of the plumbing issue earlier for that reason, The Hotel never offered any solution whatsoever, in fact the Hotel owner was contacted and he stated that there nothing that he can do. The plumber extracted human waist out of the drainage the smell was horrible, the shower curtain was contaminated with it and removed from the shower, me , my husband and our two kids had to go to another hotel to shower and expend the rest of the weekend. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Roaches in the kitchen. Rm#30 get the manager on duty phone number once you check in. He was not available when we called on Sunday am when we needed to check out and get key deposit back. Had to wait, luck our flight was later on .

I liked it!!! Room was clean, did not see any bugs. Its not the best room but it was perfect for me!! I was a travelling alone and was very busy all weekend. Parking was hard to find. I got there until 1am and they were very accommodating. Hard to get in touch though. Stayed in pool view and it was beautiful. Would stay again, but they should update the bathroom and parts of the room.

Personnel extra. Chambre très propre. Drain de douche défectueux. Mais pour trois nuits, je n’ai rien à dire. À un coin de rue de la plage. À 10 minutes de marches de plusieurs restos. 1 coin de rue du mcdo pour ceux qui en on envie. La route est bruyante. Mais, honnête avec mes bouchons j’ai dormit comme un bébé. La piscine est propre. Les chaises longues un peu défraîchies. Mais dans l’ensemble très cool. Il y a un four à micro-onde pour vos take-out ou pour réchauffer vos plats dans la chambre ainsi qu’une table. Il vous débourser 8$us pour faire laver vos vêtement sur place avec une carte de crédit. Un peu cher mais pratique.

Nous y avons uniquement passé la nuit, la Clim est trop forte mais nous l’avons débranché. Les murs ne sont pas très épais mais avec les boules quies on est sauvé ! L’eau de la douche coule très faiblement. Pour une nuit, c’est correct.

Do not stay at this location, the guy at the front desk was very unfriendly, and we felt like we put him out by asking if we could check in, this place felt very run down and dirty. Housekeeping was using a shopping cart to stock room with linen, garbage cans on property overflowing. We decided to leave and stay somewhere else.

The cockroaches in the kitchenette area was absolutely disgusting… the bed was broken and the air conditioning unit was moldy. Looks are deceiving, looked super clean but it was dirty. The kitchenette was full of crumbs and the roaches were running all over the counter and sink. Could not get ahold of anyone to let them know the about issues. Very disappointed. Will not recommend.

Nice pool area but the rooms are in serious need of renovation and our shower knob was spraying cold water everywhere when in used. However, check in was easy and it is in a good location on A1A.

The location was good but no stores or restaurants within walking distance. The beach was close but difficult to access. No coffee shop or store in the hotel. Towels were sparse. Other than that, the place was small but charming and peaceful. The pool was awesome. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large.

This is an older property and the price was right. The room presented in person as it was online. The pool area was very lush with greenery. The pool was clean and very well maintained. Our main contact at the property was Oliver, he’s very friendly and helpful. Mike also helped with our questions and accommodations. Both gentlemen were readily available with any assistance we needed. Very nice property!

Terrible experience, do not recommend to anybody. Dirty, need to ask staff to takers garbage out and give you toilet paper; noisy, as it’s a spring break as I was said flatly by staff, had to book the night in other hotel to get some sleep. Kitchen - only fridge working, don’t try to cook as stove burners are not working; extremely frustrating experience.

I knew I wasn’t getting luxury. I wanted something close to the beach for a very short stay. For $180 The hotel room was ok. The bathroom is very dated. Also the sink faucet was faulty and continued to run and the drain was clogged so 10 minutes and the sink was overflowing. Thankfully I was leaving.

They don't have anyone at the office 9 30pm to 9 30 am so if you loose or forget our key room, because we receive only one, too bad for you just go for take an other room in an other hotel because they don't answer at 2 emergency phone numbers... and the next day, they don't apologize and they don't make anything for your satisfaction. So at this moment, you pay 2 rooms for one night.

Property was well appointed and clean we were disappointed with no hairdryer and no coffee machine room had a microwave and fridge but do not know how you would use it as room had no glasses paper plastic or glass and no cups

We truly tried to like this property, but the only upside was the location being by Fort Lauderdale By the Sea. In a room with two queen beds, meant for four occupants only two full size towels (both stained) were provided, and two hand towels. During a 4-day stay staff did not replenish towels or toilet paper once. A Do Not Disturb sign was provided (and not used by us) and staff still did not stop in the room once. The ice machine was dirty and barely worked. There was no comforter on the beds, only two sheets with a thin blanket between. The a/c was disgusting looking, but at least it worked. Woke up every morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Bed bugs. All of us having stayed in the room have bug bites all over and all personally saw bugs both in our beds and in the sink. Overall quite disappointed, would honestly never stay at Ocean Mile ever again and do not recommend at all.
