This is our first stay at a Kimpton. Loved the location, staff, amenities and vibe of the Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is an updated hotel from the 50s, and the decor is minimalist and funky; gives off relaxation and spa-like vibes. Music - fantastic, restaurant - was great but we only tried breakfast. They had free coffee and tea every morning, beach yoga and they provide a mat, bike rentals (an hour freebie too!), beach chairs (2 - plus towels and bag). The rooftop pool had a cool view of the intercostal and glimpses of beach too. Beautiful and sunset and sunrise or anytime at all. The staff was attentive, kind and helpful. THERE IS DAILY HOUSEKEEPING! Since Covid I don’t think I have come across that very often so it felt nice to have that option. The 2nd pool is more relaxed and chill and nicely shaded and quiet. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds and pillows were comfy. We loved our stay at the Kimpton Shorebreak FLL. The only downside is our room had the ability to adjoin to the room next door, and the door between the 2 rooms allowed for entire conversations to be overheard and we could hear our neighbors plain as day. That was the only con to our 5 day stay.
