Our stay at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Loveland was extremely disappointing.
Check-in was substandard. The gentleman at the front desk may have been capable of providing better service, but our interaction did not reflect that. I also want to note that after this stay, there were suspicious charges on my credit card. This was the only time I used that particular card during our trip, which raises serious concerns.
When we arrived at the room, it appeared clean at first glance. However, there was no bedding provided for the pullout couch, which we specifically planned on using. The “suite” we paid for was misleading — it was essentially a standard room with a small three-foot partition between the bed and couch.
The shower pressure was extremely low — barely more than a dribble — making it very difficult to properly wash. The phone in the room did not work, so I had to repeatedly go down to the front desk for items that should have already been provided, including extra pillows and extra towels that I had requested in advance through the company’s website.
There was also a Denver Juniors volleyball team staying at the hotel. They were very loud, running through the halls, and did not appear to be properly supervised. Breakfast was very subpar, and by the time we arrived, there were no eggs or potatoes left.
Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
