You will also have the opportunity to visit the castle of Foix or to enjoy the aquatic center which are right next door. Take your car, and visit the Forges de Pyrène, the underground river of Labouiche, the prehistory park. You are sporty, enjoy the ski resorts in winter (alpine or cross-country 40 minutes by car or easily accessible by train) or to make a multitude of magnificent hikes in the mountains. Foix also offers you the possibility of practicing white water sports, canoeing, kayaking and rafting as well as paragliding.
