Walk down to the lake bluff and watch the sunset! You can explore the trails around our property. Walk over to the community hot tub for an evening soak. Or just stay on the private porch sipping coffee and looking for bald eagles on the lake! The large private fire pit area is a great spot to Stargaze and watch the sunset through the trees!
The Cabin is perfect for romantic getaways. What makes it unique is the compact luxury/roughness. Come see to understand. It is ideal for couples, but can accommodate a small family. We have a fun outdoor game area near this cabin for our guests to enjoy outdoor games with a view of the Lake!

Trails to Lake Palestine, it is a natural shoreline, no beach area and swimming and fishing are at your own risk. We have a couple of natural ponds on the property and an Artesian Outdoor Cold Bath for a refreshing 70 degree cold water soak! (season)
Guests are welcome to explore the pond area, get in the cold water outdoor bath , but we ask that you do not fish from the ponds at this time, we are still developing this area!
Private Hot tub
Disc Golf Course on the property for all guests to enjoy. Somewhat difficult course and found on UDisc at lakecabinescape in Flint, TX . Bring your own Disc!
Our cabins are built for exploring the outdoors, not the best place for indoor movie watchers:) limited internet availability
So come sit on the front porch and enjoy the view or build a campfire and enjoy the stars!!

We live nearby and you may see us out walking, working in one of our gardens or landscaping, but we respect your privacy and are only available if you need us. Each cabin has its own private areas, but you may see other guests walking and exploring outside too.

This cottage is located in remote dense woods. Tyler is 15 minutes away and has attractions, shopping and restaurants for a fun weekend getaway! The Cabin is secluded in the woods, walking distance to Lake Palestine and short 15 minute drive to Tyler.
Brookshire grocery store is a 5 minute drive. A few fast food and 1 BBQ joint nearby. The Villages Lake Marina and Chandler River Park both within 10 minutes for boats or kayaking!

The Property is a Natural Wildlife Habitat and we like to keep it as native as possible for our animal friends to have a safe haven:) We also have natural things like thorns, poison Ivy, all sorts of insects and wild animals like snakes, deer, foxes, rabbits,etc... please don’t leave food out and watch children at all times!
Enjoy views of Lake Palestine or catch the sunset from the PRIVATE HOT TUB right outside the front door on the porch!
Chiggers can be out in the tall grassy areas from May-July, insect repellent recommended!
The cabin does have a small hot water heater due to size limitations:)
Owner has severe skin allergies & does all the cleaning and laundry. We have strict no pet policy and CANNOT accommodate animals of any kind, PLEASE do not ask for exceptions.Cable TV and ground internet are not available here in the woods. Limited WIFI is available for use & provided by Verizon Jetpack.

We’re excited to host you! Please take a moment to review our house rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

About the Space:
Our cozy cabin is ideal for couples or small families. Due to its size and layout, we recommend our property for guests twenty two years and older.

Safety First:

This Cabin includes a private hot tub for your exclusive use. Please follow all Hot Tub rules and see Hot Tub sheet in the notebook.

Use caution when moving around the cabin, especially on stairs and the loft ladder.

The loft is steep and not safe for young children.

Be mindful while exploring the trails and lake areas, Use life vests when entering the lake access places. Swim & fish at your own risk.

Shared & Private Spaces:

The LARGER hot tub, trails, and lake areas are shared among the cabins. Three other cabins share the central Hot Tub. All cabins share the Lake access, fishing spots. pond areas, Cold Plunge and disc golf course. Please be courteous of other guests at all times.

The grill and fire pit are private to each cabin.

Do not place the grill on the porch, and never leave a fire unattended.

Guest Conduct:

No smoking, parties, or unregistered guests allowed, even for day use. Please ask if you are having visitors.

Each hot tub is for adults only.

Pet Policy:
Due to the nature of our construction and the owner's severe skin allergies, we cannot allow any animals—no exceptions. We personally handle most of the cleaning and laundry, so thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.
