Innisfree Cottage has a tin covered front porch to look for the Bald Eagle & an open bench area for stargazing. It may be the nicest cabin around. Named after the Classic movie "Quiet Man". The Cabin is perfect for romantic getaways. What makes it unique is the compact luxury/roughness. Come see to understand. It is ideal for couples, but can accommodate a small family. It is a small space for more than 2 adults. Private outside fire pit fun space! Due to the nature of our construction and owner having severe skin allergies we have a strict no pet policy! We do all the laundry an cleaning ourselves and CANNOT accommodate animals of any kind. Please respect our health and do not ask for exceptions.
Cable TV & ground internet are not available here in the woods. Limited Jet pack Wi-Fi is available!

It is a great spot to catch a great sunset over the lake or watch the stars from the open deck!

Trails to Lake Palestine, it is a natural shoreline, no beach area and swimming and fishing are at your own risk. We have a couple of natural ponds on the property and an Artesian Outdoor Cold Bath for a refreshing 70 degree col water soak! Guests are welcome to explore the pond area, get in the cold water outdoor bath , but we ask that you do not fish from the ponds at this time, we are still developing this area!
The shared hot tub is for use by all of our adult guests.
Disc Golf Course on the property for all guests to enjoy. Somewhat difficult course and found on UDisc at lakecabinescape in Flint, TX . Bring your own Disc!
Our cabins are built for exploring the outdoors, not the best place for indoor movie watchers:) limited internet availability
So come sit on the front porch and enjoy the view or build a campfire and enjoy the stars!!

We want you to enjoy your time here and your privacy. However, we live nearby and are available for any issues that may come up. We also farm and enjoy our property so we can often be found walking the property or working in a nearby garden or flowerbed.
The hot tub area is an outdoor deck surrounded by trees and outdoor Edison lights. Open for star gazing!
It is in a central location and shares by all 5 cabins.

City of Tyler is only a 15 -20 minute drive for all the restaurants, shopping and dining you might want! However our Neighborhood is a natural wooded property overlooking Lake Palestine. . It is a private setting, but there are conveniences close by. Brookshires grocery store is 1 mile away. The Villages Marina is 4 miles away. We do have other cabins on the property, but each is surrounded by woods and is very private! We strive to keep our wooded property as natural as possible to protect the precious Texas Ecosystem and to allow a natural habitat for our wildlife friends, and there are plenty to see if watch for them!

We have limited parking for each cabin, please use only the designated driveway for your cabin for the safety and privacy of all our guests. Once your here feel free to get outdoors and explore or walk down to the lake. Get out in Nature and explore our 2 natural ponds on property. Natural wildlife Habitat areas!

We are in the woods & on the Lake which means critters of all sorts are around. Snakes, deer, rabbits, foxes, bobcats, and many types of birds including Bald Eagles! Awesome sunset views from the porch and a few little surprises around the property to walk about and find! Lots of natural wildlife to see and hear! We have an on-site disc golf course, the map can be found on UDisc at lakecabinescape.
During the hot months our cold water Artesian Bath is delightful to dip in for a refreshing cold water plunge!
The Property is a Natural Wildlife Habitat and we like to keep it as native as possible for our animal friends to have a home:)
Chiggers can be out in the tall grassy areas from Mid May- early August, we advise insect repellant if out exploring the grounds in the summer months!

We’re excited to host you! Please take a moment to review our house rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

About the Space:
Our cozy cabin is ideal for couples or small families. Due to its size and layout, we recommend our property for guests twenty two years and older.

Safety First:

Use caution when moving around the cabin, especially on stairs and the loft ladder.

The loft is steep and not safe for young children.

Be mindful while exploring the trails and lake areas, Use life vests when entering the lake access places. Swim & fish at your own risk.

Shared & Private Spaces:

The hot tub, trails, and lake areas are shared among the cabins. Three cabins share the central Hot Tub. All cabins share the Lake access, fishing spots. pond areas, cold Plunge and disc golf course. Please be courteous of other guests at all times.

The grill and fire pit are private to each cabin.

Do not place the grill on the porch, and never leave a fire unattended.

Guest Conduct:

No smoking, parties, or unregistered guests allowed, even for day use. Please ask if you are having visitors.

Each hot tub is for adults only.

Pet Policy:
Due to the nature of our construction and the owner's severe skin allergies, we cannot allow any animals—no exceptions. We personally handle most of the cleaning and laundry, so thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.
