Our stay at this property was unfortunately very disappointing and did not meet expectations based on the listing.
Firstly, cleanliness was a major concern. There were cockroaches in the house, and it did not appear to have been properly cleaned before our arrival. The pool was also dirty and not operational, which meant it could not be used at all.
The listing itself contained misleading information. It is advertised as having four bathrooms, which is not accurate. Guests should not rely on this claim when booking. Additionally, there was no gas available during two days of our stay, meaning we had no hot water and were unable to use the stove—both basic amenities that should be guaranteed.
We also faced issues with basic provisions. There were not enough pool towels provided, and this was only addressed after we clarified that we were a group of eight rather than six.
From a safety perspective, we were uncomfortable with the host’s request not to lock the gate, as a family member would arrive early in the morning to water the plants. This posed a security risk and is not something guests should be expected to accommodate.
Lastly, the house itself needs maintenance and upgrades, particularly to the inadequate lighting fixtures.
Overall, due to the cleanliness issues, lack of essential amenities, misleading listing details, and safety concerns, we would not recommend this property.
