«My family and I enjoyed our stay very much! The view from the balcony is awesome! The resort itself is so close to everything we just walked. This ski trip we didn’t ski or snow tube on beech mountain but did drive to Hawksnest for snow tubing; which was only about a 45 min drive. The host communicated the entire trip and ready if there were any questions or concerns. My family and I would and will definitely stay again!! »

«Last minute booking for July 4th weekend. Booked through Vrbo. Reasonable price. Great location. Very compact chalet, but efficient layout. Very clean. Didn’t care for the bed “cubicle.” Difficult for person sleeping on the inside (wall) to get out once you’re in bed. Also, rather thin walls. Could hear the people snoring in the next unit, and people walking in unit above. Got to enjoy fireworks shows over both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain just down the hill. Would gladly stay again. »

«Perfect place for a couple after a long day on the slopes. Best perk was they had Totino’s pizza rolls in the freezer! Only downside was the hot tub closed at 10pm, so we missed that by doing night skiing. Wasn’t spotless (the cleaning crew missed a couple spots), but that didn’t bother us. Would def book again! »

"We stayed one night as we where driving through Blowing Rock. The hotel is charming and private, yet within walking distance to the centre of Blowing Rock. The rooms felt very clean and spacious. The included breakfast was alright - nothing special but atleast theres some warm options to choose from. Friendly staff as well. The negatives: the gap around the room door ment that voices/sounds in the hallway easily made its way into the room. This was not really an issue for us as we stayed here in a time of the year with less travellers, but i guess this could be troublesome in the high season. Furthermore the pool was closed (they had an option at a neighbouring hotel instead) and there was a bit of mold on one of the types of bread they served for breakfast. All in all the negatives did not bother us too much. This was among the cheapest hotels in Blowing Rock at the time i booked, and I would certainly stay here again. "
