We stayed here for a short vacation and like to spend our vacations equal parts adventure and relaxing - the location is ideal for getting downtown and to other destinations like Balboa Park, the Zoo, and lots of great local neighborhood restaurants and bars. But is also quiet and private so it was a great spot for an evening of staying in, watching movies and just chilling. Would definitely recommend.»

«The property is described well in listing. WiFi, TV and streaming. There were heaters and air conditioners. Bed slept well. The cottage is quaint and has charm. Loved the patio off the kitchen. Lots of outdoor space and our dog loved the patio. Everything we needed to make coffee, toaster to have morning bagels and toast. A refrigerator, gas stove and garbage disposal. «Property was super clean, smelt nice, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Neighborhood is very walkable. Stayed during the week and parking wasn’t an issue. Our dog had a great time. There’s a restaurant/ bar right at the corner of the street that allows dogs which was super convenient. Thank you!»

It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. The location was spectacular, so close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on Newport Ave. The casita is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. «My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in January. It was convenient to lots of restaurants in OB and to major tourist attractions. We took the bus downtown a couple of times and the bus stop is just around the corner. The cottage is clean and has everything we needed.»
