The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked even with a few snacks and emergency frozen pizza- a great bonus for our late arrival. We saw extra pillows and blankets, bowls and bedding for pets and a toys for children. The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed movie nights on the cozy couch using the Roku to log in to our streaming services. The patio has a nice set of tables and chairs to enjoy morning. coffee or a little celebration and our neighbors did. The host communicated efficiently and was able to answer all of our questions. Location: excellent proximity to restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops. Try the Little Bread Company of you have a chance. It's a 3 minutes walk. Light sleepers take note: this is an older home, the upstairs floors are creaky. It didn't bother us, but it did wake me up a few times. I would bring sleep earplugs next time if we had early morning obligations. Those with mobility issues should be aware that there are three steps down into the courtyard to access this lower level flat. The apartment itself is easy to navigate. Parking area is gravel and somewhat sloped. If there are no parking spaces, parking is available on the street for free. You will walk up a steep driveway or climb 3 steps to access the yard, where you walk down 3 steps to get to the apartment. Our only regret is that we didn't discover this rental 3 years ago when our son started at UA.
