This was a very disappointing stay. The house was not as shown or described on the listing. The beds shown in the pictures were not the same beds at the house when we arrived. The beds shown are normal beds with headboards and mattresses, and they are described as "plush"...those offered within the home are like cots with metal frames and thin, uneven mattresses. The listing describes the kitchen as "fully equipped." Upon arrival, we discovered that the kitchen had 13 plates, but only 2 bowls and 4 forks...total. It made it difficult to even eat one meal together. We wound up purchasing plastic utensils and paper bowls to get through the week. There were also no hot pads to remove items from the oven. The hot tub was described as an oasis, but instead was covered in sticky residue from the surrounding trees, the wooden privacy shield beside the hot tub was broken, and the cover of the hot tub was torn and sagging. There were no smoke detectors in the home, and it looked as though there had been a flood or leak at some point that had severely damaged the flooring leaving it warped and uneven, but it had not been repaired. One positive I will highlight is the responsiveness of the host. When I contacted her to share that we saw cockroaches, she quickly arranged for pest control to come and treat the home. Overall, I would say please save your money. This home is not worth it.
