«We stayed for two days in mid-March.
Check in was a breeze and we were impressed by the service mindedness of the staff and all the nice touches, like complimentary fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, a good selection of dvds and books avaliable, various beach toys and boards to loan etc. There was a fresh copy of the LA Times at our door every morning.
The room was nice and we slept well in the big comfortable bed.
There is free parking.

«I had a great stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. The hotel looked very clean and well-maintained, and it seemed like they recently remodeled because the rooms and common areas felt modern and refreshed.

«Everything was great until 4:45am when the fire alarm went off in my room only. After a few minutes of calling the front desk and no one answered, it turned off. 10 min later it came blaring back on, called again and they sent a engineer up and he unplugged it and took it away, no replacement. «The hotel was very crowded and never let up. There is nowhere to park except for at the hotel or valet. Parking is $42/night per vehicle. We had to vehicles and I find it ridiculous when hotels want to charge you to park at the establishment you are already paying for. The TV in one of the rooms was not working.
