Inside, the cabin features a welcoming open layout with a queen-size bed, cable TV, and rustic wood finishes that reflect the peaceful mountain surroundings. A large in-room jacuzzi tub provides the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. While there's no full kitchen, the space includes a microwave, toaster oven, and small refrigerator, perfect for preparing light meals or snacks during your stay.

Step outside onto the front porch, where you can sip your morning coffee or unwind in the evening while taking in views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding mountains. At night, enjoy stargazing by the community fire pit, an experience that brings out the true magic of mountain living.

Located just off the scenic Parkway, these cabins are ideal for a peaceful mountain retreat or romantic getaway.

Nestled on 21 acres of wooded, rolling hills, Lonesome Pine Cabins offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, it's the perfect home base for exploring scenic drives, hiking trails, local music venues, and charming wineries and antique shops in nearby towns like Galax, Floyd, and Independence.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
