Rolig hjem i hjertet av Alpilles med privat basseng

I hjertet av Alpilles, er dette huset på 200m² med autentisk karakter og pent utformet, lenet mot de defensive veggene i landsbyen hvis historie går tilbake til 1200-tallet. Residence med alle moderne bekvemmeligheter.
En renovering som har holdt minnet om fortiden ned til detaljene (originale skodder typisk for Provence, steinvegger). To år med arbeid var nødvendig for å fullføre transformasjonen, skære ut volumene og kombinere en provençalsk livsstil.

I hjertet av landsbyen Eyragues, mellom Saint-Rémy-de-Provence og Avignon, ligger huset på slutten av en blindgyde, for trygg fred og et løfte om privatliv.

High-end service: fullt utstyrt kjøkken, high-end sengetøy, privat basseng, badehåndklær og sengetøy. Hus og rom med klimaanlegg, Wi-Fi.
2 kingsize-senger, 1 queen size-seng og en dobbeltseng.

Amazing home, welcoming hosts

We can’t say enough good things about this house and the owners, Pierre and Sylvette. It is far more beautiful and unique than the photos suggest. We stayed a week in August - parents and three adult children/ two spouses. We had more than enough room. It is a perfect set-up with the courtyard and pool just off the kitchen. Modern kitchen. Immaculate. Air conditioned bedrooms, a real plus in the August heat. High-quality, comfortable beds. Parking on-site. The bottom floor stays nice and and cool. We wished we had more time to simply sit around and enjoy this home, but Eyragues is a great location for seeing the beautiful towns and villages in the region: San Remy, Les Baux, Isle-sur-la-Surgue, and a quick drive to the Avignon TGV to get to Marseille, Aix, etc. Again - we loved this house. One of the most unique homes we have rented. A highlight was the evening around the pool while the chef the hosts had arranged prepared an amazing dinner. Ask for Claude! They also pre-ordered croissants at the local artisanal bakery for our pick up the morning after arrival. Another plus - no long list of chores to complete before check out. Highly recommended!

Wonderful!

We are just back from a wonderful week in this lovely house. It was just as we had hoped! Very comfortable accommodation, great out door area for sitting with a glass of wine or cooling down with a welcome swim. The location is perfect: in the middle of a village with all amenities close by. There were some great bakeries, a few cafés and restaurants, some of which were very good indeed. All of this in beautiful Provence! What more could you ask for!

Excellent Home base to explore provence

We stayed here with our 3 children under 7 and it was excellent. Host are so lovely and accommodating. The house is aesthetically pleasing and clean. Pool makes for a great low key day. The location of the house is a great place to stay when exploring nearby towns Saint Remy, Gordes, Avignon and more! Highly recommend!!!

A fantastic find - highly recommended

From the moment we arrived Philippe and Sylvette couldn't' have been better hosts - the home is beautiful and completely private. The renovation is superb with every last detail thought of. We were shown were everything was. Eyragues is a wonderful village and you can walk to everything once you arrive. Philippe and Sylvette were extremely kind and responded to our questions and helped us settle in really quickly. We would definitely stay here again. The local market on a Friday was a delight, the kitchen at the house perfect to eat at home every night, the pool is an extra element that was fabulous after a day or walking or cycling. Great location to visit Avignon, Nimes and the Carmargue. Local business (Graveson) delivered bikes to us at the house so we could explore. Wonderful villa, very well presented and great location

We were thrilled to arrive at the house and find it looks even better than the pictures! Everything about the property has been done with care and thought, and all your needs are met - four large and comfortable bedrooms including two excellent master suites, one with a private outside terrace. The living areas are comfortably furnished and spacious and the kitchen is modern and well equipped. The air conditioning kept all the bedrooms comfortable during a period of extreme heat. The outside area is pretty, calm and relaxing and the pool was a delight. All of our queries and concerns were promptly responded to by Philippe and he was a helpful host. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Stunning property

This villa was absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The history of the house is fascinating. On a practical note, one of the best aspects was the location. It is within 2 mins walk of anything you might need. I loved not having to get in car all the time. The owners were delightful and greeted us, gave us information and tips. We were a little concerned about the open staircases because we have 3 children but it was fine. I loved the little balcony off the master bedroom which had sun all day. I used it to do my pilates on in the morning! I'd definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation

Our accommodation was excellent. Sylvette and Philippe were very welcoming and had clearly invested a lot of time in renovating the property - it was finished to a high standard. Everyone loved the house and courtyard - it was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was welcome on the hot days. The kids loved the swimming pool - it was just the right size and depth for them. The location is excellent - Eyragues is a lovely town with a welcoming community, and it was also a great base to explore other towns and cities from. Overall I couldn’t fault this house or the hosts. Thank you for giving us such a great stay!

Beautiful home: not great for children

The property is very beautiful and the village is quiet. But there are two long staircases without railings and the four bedrooms are separated by staircases (2 rooms on each side of the house). The owner is very particular about the house. He had us water yard for him during our stay and made us do an inventory with him before checking out. Before we left, he made us scrub toilets and take our own trash to the town dump. Very high standards of how you leave the property make it not great for children.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this very quiet home. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The two ensuites make it perfect for two couples - if having kids stay I think they should be older due to the stairs. The home owners are adorable and very attentive.

Trip of a Lifetime

We were a somewhat large adult family group of 8 for 8 days The house was perfect for us with space for everyone. Phillipe and Sylvia have done a magnificent job in renovating this family property and the pictures don't do it justice -- a real gem. Eyragues is a great location, just north of St-Remy and south of Avignon (TGV station is a 15 minute drive). Smallish but very pleasant town and not touristed. Perfect base for visiting sites and towns in the area or just relaxing.

Tranquil & beautiful historic home

We stayed at Philippe and Sylvette’s beautifully refurbished home for four nights in the peek of the heat wave. The pool is situated in the tranquil and private courtyard and offered the perfect escape from the heat after exploring local St. Remy, Arles, and Les Beaux. The proximity to all of these towns was easy and close by. The layout of the home was great for two families. We had four teens on one side, and the two couples across the house with en suite bathrooms which allowed for privacy and space. We enjoyed cards at night around the table situated in the ancient tower, and local wine and charcuterie in the courtyard. We shared many laughs and new adventures here and will remember this beautiful home fondly.

A perfect rental.

A perfect location and house for a holiday, although the house is in the village, it is very quiet and secluded. The village has much to offer for a family. Great location for the train to Avignon or flights to Nimes, Montpellier or Marseille.. We'd highly recommend.

Beautiful home

This home in Eyragues was close to all of the sites we wanted to visit in Provence-- Arles, Avignon, St Remy de Provence, the Pont du Gard, and Les Baux. The home was clean, spacious and comfortable for 5 of us. The owners met us the first day to show us around and were easy to reach when questions arose. Would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to others. The only downside is that it is hidden on a very small road and was initially difficult to find.

7 Days in Provence

This is a very lovely house, well furnished and quiet. A very good family or share rental. There is well equipped and modern kitchen. It would be helpful for future tenets if there were some directions written out about local restaurants and how locking of doors worked. I would definitely recommend this house to all looking for a Provence experience

A fantastic secluded villa in a lovely village close to St Remy and Avignon

Great facilities, pool and outside space. The property was very clean and well maintained, even nicer than in the photos. The location was very quite and secluded. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Everthing one needed was provided. Very close to Saint Remy, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Chateauneuf. Perfect stay

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful property and couldn’t have asked for more. The house is furnished very tastefully and was a very generous size for our party of 6; we certainly found the layout ideal for 3 couples. The house is well equipped and was spotlessly clean so it truly felt like a home away from home for a wonderful 7 days. Odeline and her lovely family greeted us on arrival and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Communication with Odeline throughout was excellent which made the whole transaction easy and straight forward. The house is ideally situated for visiting local must see places such as St Rémy de Provence, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Gordes and Les Baux De Provence. We particularly enjoyed kayaking which was great fun, if a little tiring, but the house was lovely to return home to and relax afterwards. The pool and outside seating made relaxing at Lou Pastargue overall a joy. Eyragues itself is an interesting little town and benefits from a view bars and some great eating places, not to mention some historic buildings (of which the house itself forms part). We tried the nearby pizzeria and a lovely French restaurant (I think called ‘Cavienne’?) just off the main square and both were really very good. All in all, I can’t recommend this beautiful property enough and we all came away hoping to make a return visit soon.

Beautiful Provençal home

My family of 7, aged 26 to 65, stayed in this beautiful home for a week while we explored Provence. The bedrooms were great - comfortable beds, wonderful showers and air conditioned! It was close to 100 degrees when we were there so AC was important. And the pool was a welcome bonus at the end of a hot day of sightseeing. The house was spotlessly clean and Odeline was easy to work with, answering all of our questions promptly. The house is located at the end of a quiet street and is the perfect spot for exploring the area.

Wonderful holiday home

We have recently spent an idyllic four weeks in this wonderful home which was everything we had hoped for and more. The village of Eyragues proved to be an ideal location, both in itself and as a base for visiting the many attractions of the Alpilles de Provence area and beyond. Our hosts were very warm and hospitable, greeting us on arrival showing us the property and giving us many tips on places to visit and dining options in the area with ongoing communication no problem at all. The property itself is ideal for a large group of either family or friends with large outdoor and indoor living areas and superb bedrooms. We would strongly recommend the property for either a short or long term stay and hope we can find a reason to visit there again.
