"Great from start to finish. Easy and fast communication with Tomas. Breakfast in nearby cafe. Only thing is there are some noises from the street that will be heard in the room at night. Be aware the suites aren’t in a secluded area of Fira so neighbors will se you on your private terrace/pool. No problem for us, just FYI. Would absolutely stay again."

"All in all, an excellent stay at the Amber Light Villas. It is a very personal experience where the non-cleaning staff will call you by your surname even before you have introduced yourself and the reception couldn’t be any better. The pool villa we stayed in was clean and extremely comfortable with good tanning beds, a good sound system and plenty of space for two. Regarding the food, the breakfast was of high quality, but somewhat limited in the selection. The same can be said for the dining experience, which was personal and the food quality great, but somewhat limited menus. Finally, the pricing is very fair, both for the stay itself and the meals, minibar etc. There are only a few drawbacks. Firstly, and most severely, the maintenance could be improved. There are areas, such as the AC covers, that are filled with rust. Moreover, the side shade of our outside area had missing bolts, and some of the inside panels had sunscreen stains. Secondly, it is worth stating that the pools, both the one in your room and the common area, close at 20:00, so if you want a late night dip, pick a room with a jacuzzi instead which you are allowed to use until 23:00. A final note is that the hotel is on the side of the island where you will see the moon rise, rather than a sunset. The views are incredible, so not a problem unless you are looking for that specifically. It is also quite remote, so I would recommend budgeting for a rental vehicle or a few Uber rides."
