Beliggenheten er utmerket med tanke på stranden og nærhet til bysentrum. Lett å få parkert er det også. Vennlig betjening, herlig basseng i bakhagen og utsøkt frokost. Vi kommer alltid tilbake hit hver gang vi er i Essaoira.

I stayed at the Sofitel in Agadir last year and was blown away by the hotel and staff. So when booking a hotel for Essaouira it was a natural choice to pick Sofitel. However, this time i got disapointed. First of all, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel like the webpage says, also some of the staff was not very helpful (only a few, most was wonderful). Eks, we were three people and at check-in they tried to make us have two room, claiming the hotel didn’t have rooms with three beds. We showed them the email confirmation, and all of a sudden they had a room ready with three beds. The rooms have not been upgraded in many, many years and the same with some of the comon areas. The positives are that the pool area was really nice and location was perfect. I would nott book it again though.

The Staff at the hotel provided topp service but I got tired of the hotel manager and the other staff all the time asking question of if everything is OK ect. I also prefere not to see the same staff in the morning, during the lunch and the evening. They should have the opportunity to go home and stay some time with their family. But overall a nice stay and a perfect location by the beach- and the hotel have a nice beach club there. Good hotel for children.

Good stay.
Close to the beach and walking distance to the Medina was a great combo. Good breakfast, but a bit expensive. But enjoying a breakfast poolside is great. Overall a great hotel, but the "add-on's" cost a bit.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk til! Kort gåavstand til et utrolig sjarmerende sentrum og rett ved en vanvittig flott strand. Hyggelig service, overdådig frokost og fine rom. Air-condition virket ikke godt, men sengene var kanskej de beste hotellsengene jeg har sovet i. Begynner å bli slitt, men er overfalte oppusset.

Helt ok hotell. Betalte hotellet med bonuspoeng, ville nok ellers ikke betalt for å bo her selv. Veldig sentral beliggenhet, rett ved stranden og veldig kort vei til medinaen, som var et stort pluss. Også et stort pluss med balkong til rommet.

Denne hotellet absolut anbefales,veldig avslappende opphold. Bra svømmebaseng,hyggelig service,supper bra frokost,bra belligenhet,man kan trekke seg fra vind i Essaouira. Internet kun i resepsjon området,dessverre var ikke mulig å få den på rommet.Uansett vi var i Essaoira uttalige ganger og for noen som må ikke oppleve riad, dette er super bra alternativ,det er veldig viktig at det er varmt på rommet,spesielt om vinteren som kan være litt kjølig.Det er vår andre gangen på dette hotellet og det var like bra som første gang!

Helt topp hotel med super beliggenhet. Her får du alt; komfort, fred og ro, fuglesang rundt bassenghagen, stranden et stenkast unna, og kort vei til medinaen og yrende liv. Vi ble veldig postivt overrasket både over standard og service, og fikk virkelig hvilt oss og samlet krefter her. Eneste minus, at spaet er veldig dyrt (norske priser) slik at det ble til at vi ikke benyttet spatjenestene på hotellet.

A great hotel allowing to enjoy swimming pool sheltered from the wind, private beach club and small spa, all within 5 min of the Medina ! Room was large with a nice balcony. Breakfast had good option range and was ok but not great. The facilities would benefit from more maintenance but overall package was still worth the price.

Excellent hotel. Great location, clean, modern with good lighting in the room and bathroom. Our ocean view with small balcony was very nice. Walking distance to restaurants, attractions and the wide boardwalk and beach. Highly recommend. Note: the website pictures do not do this hotel justice! Pleasant surprise!

Incredible Hotel
This was probably the best hotel experience of our lives as a family. Incredible hotel, great design, amazing (and large) pool (open round the clock), the best possible location in Essaouira, a short walk into the heart of the old town, and on the beach. But the best thing of all - is the staff - going out their way to personalise your experience and excel in customer service. Very very good. Great holiday.

Great hotel with amazing staff (everyone is friendly and willing to help). The 5 min walk to the old town makes it a great location for quick dive into the world of tasty Moroccan food. The provocateur beach front and the pool provide plenty of opportunities to swim and chill.

The location is wonderful- a few minutes walk to the port and Medina. They have their own private section of the beach, with table and beverage service. Could be slow at times but the food was good. The rooms are large but a bit dated. We had ants and gnats in the room. Would also have appreciated larger bottles of the complimentary water in the room. Pool area is really nice. They also have a fitness center. Staff were pleasant. I few tweaks to the overall property upkeep would take this to the next level.

A down at heel hotel in need of considerable refurbishment which is certainly not 5 star standard. On arrival at 3.30 pm we were told our room wasn't ready; when challenged we were told we could go to our room but it was not ready. There were housekeeping staff in there who left when we arrived. In their haste to leave there were no handtowels, the sink waste didnt work and there was an empty bottle and used towel from previous guests. The fruit and pastries were on chippped plates. Terrible service at breakfast, no information, we were not offered drinks, the food was limited and often plates needed replenishing. We found out be accident that omelettes, eggs etc were being cooked to order outside.
