It’s located in a quiet area in the woods, perfect location to reach all the major stops in DC. Very clean and the host provided a lot of little perks…coffee station, emergency toiletries, gift, etc. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay there again!»

«This was a great home. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen appeared well stocked. Some of the decor/finished were a little dated but the space itself was great. The outside area is amazing, there is a fire pit and a swing right on the water. Definitely would stay again.»

«The pros:Check in was extremely easy and it was communicated perfectly on how to access building. We had a large group and the house was able to fit all of us and they were super cool about the additional members. I very much appreciated that. The house appeared to have everything we needed. We could not locate washer and dryer because usually during my stays I leave the house fully clean and I do the linens and towels and I wasn’t able to do that but the description stated there was a washer ...

«This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. We love it as it is dog friendly, clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill station, hammock and kayaking during sunsets. The views are incredible outside and from the inside. We stayed off season so it was quite chilly, but you can always warm up in the indoor sauna:). Great hiking opportunities in the nearby state parks (Newport and Death Door Bluff), The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!»

The fireplace added a nice torch for chilly fall nights & the fire pit & grill were perfect for s’mores and steaks. The home was very clean and the beds were comfy. We would definitely stay again. «A very pleasant place to relax and get rejuvenated. We were there for our 35th anniversary. Bonnie and Bob, had balloons, a card, and a bottle of wine awaiting us. A nice touch. The view and sound of the crashing waves was great, especially the beautiful sunrises. It was quiet except for the traffic on hwy 35 but we got used to it. We stayed for 1 week and we would definitely stay again.»

The views are spectacular all day and into the evening! And the sunsets!! Gretel and Dan are amazing hosts and we will return, again and again!»
