The beach is calling! Welcome to our home at Sea Maiden West. This recently remodeled new duplex features 5 private bedrooms, all with STUNNING ocean views, 3 full baths and an outside shower (hot/cold). Watch the sunrise from one of the private decks, yes there are many (up and down), or take a nap on the comfy new outdoor furniture while listening to the waves crash.

Additional amenities include remodeled kitchen, surround sound, wireless high speed Internet access, ceiling fans throughout, central AC, brand new furniture and all new mattresses and bedding.

Family vacation

This is a beautiful oceanfront home. The house is is in excellent condition and well appointed.. The neighborhood is private and a wonderful place for walks or bike riding and close to stores and restaurants.

Family vacation during tropical storm Debby

We had a nice stay at Sea Maiden West - we had to spend a lot of time inside because of a tropical storm and we felt a little cramped with 10 people. Do want to note that had we been able to use the deck/beach more we wouldn't have felt cramped at all. The kitchen is beautiful and clean, great appliances. It was difficult for more than one person to be cooking at a time just based on the setup. Not a ton of empty cabinet space to place your groceries - but the small hutch in the kitchen was very useful for that. The bedrooms were all comfortable. Wish we had known about the spiral staircase to the top bedroom. It was fun for our young teens but would be difficult with younger kids or older teens. Outdoor shower was so nice! Beach chairs were a great bonus! Location was ideal - so close to grocery stores. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely home :)

sea maiden west

Highly recommend this rental. 6 adults and 5 children stayed here for a week. Home is beautifully decorated, and kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook an entire meal. Spiral staircase leading to upper level bedroom was perfect for our only grandson (14 yrs old) among his female cousins. Home is equipped with beach chairs and sand toys. Our daughter loved the outdoor shower for bathing the grandchildren when coming up from the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Location on the island was also perfect. Can't say enough good things about this rental!!

Sea Maiden West at Emerald Isle 2024

This house on the beach was absolutely fantastic! It had everything in the kitchen that we could possibly need to cook. The view from the home was stunning! We loved that it had a covered deck, and also a deck off of the master bedroom! We spent many nights sitting outside enjoying the stars and sound of the ocean. The location could not be beat! It was so close to everything that we enjoy doing on Emerald Isle. Renting bikes was a must for our family and we could easily bike to Publix, Gaffers, and various coffee shops. We did not hear any noise from the neighbors the entire week. It was so helpful that the owners provided 12 beach chairs (and they were good ones) and three umbrellas. The home's AC unit kept the home cool even up on the top floor as there were two controls for the house. There was plenty of hot water for 10 people to take a shower after a day on the beach. The owners could not have been more helpful. This home was very clean and nicely decorated. My adult children said this was the nicest place that we have ever stayed on Emerald Isle and we would definitely come back! This is a popular community and the beach area is not as crowded. You should not hesitate to reserve this home if you have 10 or less people. You will not be disappointed. Melissa from Maryland

Amazing Week!!!

Everything about this property was beyond our expectations. Every single detail was provided enabling us to thoroughly enjoy our family. Location perfect! Beach spectacular! Third time, and still wonderful!

This is the third year my friends and I have rented this house for a week in the spring. Each time it has been magical and wonderful. The location right on the beach is perfect, the house is super comfortable and roomy and well stocked, the environment is quiet, the surrounding restaurants are wonderful if you like fresh seafood, and the walking is terrific. Including on the beach right outside the back door. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful

The home was just beautiful, and well stocked. The owners were wonderful to work with when needed. My husband and I took along with us 3 of our adult children and 2 spouses, 2 teenage grandsons, our 6 year old granddaughter and 7 month old grandson. My mother, brother and his wife and daughter cane over several nights for dinner and football games. There was more than enough room for all of to be comfortable and make new memories. Very nice home!! Was equipped with everything we needed! We were even provided bath and body hand soap, bathroom tissue, and other everyday essentials! Beautiful views of the ocean. Comfortable beds. Right on the beach. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook for a large group. Nice deck furniture with a nice area to eat outside. We really enjoyed our stay.

A little slice of paradise

We had a fabulous week staying at Matt and Jen’s place. Leading up to the vacation, Jen was exceptional at replying to my every question about the house and location, and she was an equal concierge extraordinaire upon arrival and throughout our stay. We rented the house with another family, so every bed was taken. This is well advertised on the site but remember that this rental is half of the house (Sea Maiden West as opposed to the other half, which is Sea Maiden East). This means that the house has more of a townhouse feel, but it met all of our needs. The couch was spacious and extremely comfortable and everyone had a place to eat between the dining table, counter bar stools and back patio lounge, which is truly the biggest selling point of the whole rental. If you’ve never been to Emerald Isle before the color of the water lives up to its name and the vistas from the porch (and every window really) make you feel like you’ve been transported to Paradise. The patio lounge was a great place to have morning coffee, share a meal, sit and watch the waves, sunset till sundown and you cannot beat the convenience of being right on the beach. Everyone could come and go as they pleased, which made the difference between a “trip with kids” and a true vacation. We can’t wait to go back next summer!!!❤️

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful. Jennifer was very easy to contact when I had additional questions. The fact that the ocean is literally a short few steps away is exactly what we wanted. Perfect location

This home is beautifully renovated and perfect for families who want to stay on the beach. We walked right out of the house and onto the beach. The location was perfect and close to nearby restaurants and activities. You definitely would enjoy staying here for your vacation!

Great location and modern style

Our group had 3 families with young children. We loved the beachfront access and how well equipped the house was. We were unaware of the small spiral staircase to the room with the twin beds, which made sleeping arrangements a bit more difficult than we originally planned. The loft-style bedroom isn’t ideal for very small children. The only other small inconveniences were: 1) we had to make our own beds upon arrival 2) all dishes needed to be cleaned and put away at checkout.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views from the living room, master bedroom, and the decks were just phenomenal. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the nice touches like the cute nightlights in the bathrooms and hallways and the nice beach chairs we could use for the beach.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at The Sea Maiden W. The home was perfect for our family (6 adults 2 teenagers and a 20 month old).We couldn't have asked for a nicer home from the comfort of the furnishings, to the well equipped kitchen, to the location. It was so peaceful listening to the waves from the balconies, and the convenience of the steps to the ocean was perfect. I wish we could visit this lovely home multiple times each year. But just getting my busy family together for one week was difficult! Even so, we made incredible family memories here at this lovely home!
