The house was beautiful, and we had a lot of fun during our stay. There were a few small problems during our stay (missing remote for TV - maintenance person couldn’t program a new remote, but offered to go buy one and come back. Also, we spent so much time trying to figure out the Sonos system, only to find out the Sonos system wasn’t working. We were told there was another speaker on the bar, and when we couldn’t find it, we were told it was brought to their other rental property. The owner of the house then same day shipped a speaker.). The biggest and worst problem came after we left the house. I got a text from Heather asking if I knew what happened to the bar cooler in the basement. I told her there was nothing wrong with it and multiple guests confirmed it was in working condition before leaving. She sent me 2 videos that her maintenance person had sent her, saying we broke the lid and the cooling system to the cooler. I kept telling her we didn’t do anything to it and it was working when we left. I was so angry and upset that we were basically being blamed for damage that we didn’t do, and felt like it was a scam since we didn’t take out the insurance on the property. The next day, Heather called me to say “sorry, it was our other property, the maintenance person got it mixed up.” I understand mistakes happen, but this is unacceptable to have this happen without confirming it was even at the correct house! Definitely a horrible way to have our trip end!
