River Bend Lodge overlooking Coosawattee River

The North Georgia mountains are calling you to stay in this gorgeous lodge rental. River Bend Lodge offers 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. The perfect place for a family vacation. The lodge will sleep 12 people comfortably and also offers cable and Wi-Fi. The main floor boasts an expansive open gourmet kitchen, dining room with screen porch, and living room with beautiful views of the Coosawattee River and stunning stone gas fireplace. The main floor also offers a 1/2 bath, laundry room, and master bedroom with king bed including a private screen deck, and bathroom featuring an outdoor shower. Moving up the log staircase you find more views of the Coosawattee River from the second floor catwalk. The upstairs offers 2 large bedrooms and cleverly designed jack-and-jill bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms offer queen size beds. Each bedroom has it's own 1/2 bathroom with a shared shower in the middle.

When you walk down to the terrace level you will find a beautiful wet bar, game area with ping pong table, family room, full bathroom, and 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom offers 2 sets of twin bunk beds and the other bedroom offers a queen bed. The deck offers you views of the Coosawattee River and the ability to hear the sounds from the river. Also, on the deck is a six seater hot tub overlooking the river.

No detail was missed when creating this elegant rustic retreat. From the main floor living room with floor to ceiling windows giving you the feeling of being in a treehouse to the stunning gourmet kitchen you will never want to leave. The lodge also has a ramp off the front deck making it easier access for those with mobility needs. All of this is located in a gated community with all paved, gentle grade roads in Ellijay, GA.

River Bend Lodge (apple pickin vacation)

It is beautiful property inside and out and great for our family of 12. Plenty of entertainment for our adult (children) and adults. Will stay again when we travel to north Georgia.

Great family option

This property was great for our family of ten. The floor plan was spacious and provided all the right amenities to entertain children and adults. Would definitely stay again. The property is toward the back side of a narrow winding road and takes a bit of driving to reach from the entrance, but this was not a problem just something to note.

Perfect home for a family get-together

This beautiful 3-level home provided lots of room for us along with our children and grandchildren to spread out! The owners have thought of everything to make this home very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were plenty of towels, our favorite Softsoap and toilet paper!! We used the outdoor grill most nights. Beautiful views. It was a perfect place for our family. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Weekend getaway

Cabin is beautiful and well furnished. Hopefully, there will be more landscaping around the property. It had recently rained and therefore the grounds were very muddy. Fire pit was a bit on the disappointing side as well.

Fantastic location for group getaway

It was AMAZING!!! Spacious, kitchen had many of the items needed for cooking. All we required was food, drink, and spices. Hot tub was relaxing, deck was spacious, plenty of games, grill to cook on, and a fireplace if wanted. The only thing that could have been better would have been access to the water, however, you could kayaks and tubes at another location within the community. Owners were very responsive. We had 10 adults and this house could have accommodated more easily.

Amazing House

We had a wonderful vacation at River Bend. The view of the river from the massive back window was beautiful. This may be one of the best stocked places I’ve ever rented. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything and more that we needed to prepare our meals. The place also came well-stocked with towels, which is a big plus when traveling with 10 people. I will definitely stay here again.

Awesome Property

The online pictures doesn't do this property justice. It is beautiful and spacious. We had a group of 11 and easily could have slept more. The community is wooded and loaded with lovely deer. The people in Ellijay were friendly. We had a great meal at the River Street Tavern, went tubing and horseback riding. The cabin was large and comfortable enough for us to spread out inside and outside playing games, dancing, cooking, fellowshipping and having a great time. Our host was responsive to any questions we had and we would definitely return here.

Beautiful cabin!

Very clean, spacious and well decorated cabin! Beds were so comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. I’ve never stayed in a rental where the master bath had so many extra towels and washcloths! The huge deck was great for lunch for our family reunion gathering! Several of us tubed or kayaked down the lovely river 3 times😊 we would definitely stay here again!

Paradise

Everything about this property and it’s location are amazing. We really enjoyed the newly expanded deck and spent many hours out there playing cornhole, jenga and just hanging out. We tubed the river twice and each time was a blast. The house is stocked with everything you could need and more, just pack your clothes! The community is quiet and peaceful, birds singing and deer in the backyard. There are multiple pools to also enjoy. We will definitely be back

Beautiful and well-equipped

Our group of 9 friends stayed here for the weekend. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating and the property itself was immaculate and cozy. There was plenty of room for all. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was easy to find. The weather was not nice for outdoor activities but there was plenty of entertainment between the view outside the windows, the pool table, the hot tub, and games. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Amazing cabin, great for groups

This was our 2nd time Nick's cabin and the ladies now want to make it an annual tradition. It worked great for our group and great location to wineries for our activities. The home has everything you need, and it looks like they are doing some additions as I speak!

Wow! Exceeded Expectations

Nick property is perfect. After reading others reviews I agree that this property is better than described. It’s obviously a well cared for house and stocked with everything you could need, including a crockpot. I brought my own and discovered the home already had one! We will definitely return. Thanksgiving Trip

Great family vacation spot!!

We had a wonderful time at the lodge. From watching deer on the property, enjoying the beautiful scenery from the large windows and decks, working jigsaw puszzles, sitting around the firepit making s'mores to hiking in the area - everything was great. Our family made some wonderful memories during our stay. The lodge was spacious, had a beautiful view, and pleanty of room for our family of several couples and kids. The accomodations were especially great for my husband, who needs handicap accommodations. The master bath was spacious enoungh for manuvering a wheel chair, the door frames were wide and easy to get through, the shower was large enough for the bath chair he uses and the living room area and kitchen were open and spacious and gave him ample room to move around in his chair. There are not many places that are so accommodating for a handicap visitor. Nick was especially helpful throughout the whole process from booking until our final check out. We will definitely bring our family back in the future.
