I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express during a soccer tournament, and overall the property was fine for what I needed. It served its purpose, and the cleanliness was acceptable, though the hotel definitely feels dated and could use some updating.
I did run into a few issues during my stay. I booked two rooms with two queen beds through Expedia. At check‑in, I confirmed with the front desk that both rooms would have two queens, and I was told, “yes, I think so.” When I got to the rooms, both had a king bed with a pullout instead of the two queens I reserved. When I went back to the front desk, I was told the hotel was sold out and no rooms with two queens were available. The only compensation offered was $20 off per room, which essentially just matched the price difference for the king rooms I was given.
Additionally, the room I stayed in (317) had no toilet lid, which added to the feeling that the property needs better maintenance and updating.
The stay was manageable for a quick trip, but the room type issue, lack of clear communication, and maintenance concerns were disappointing. This hotel works for a short stay, but be aware that room types may not be guaranteed and the property could benefit from improvements.
