«Staying at this guest house was a truly special experience. Being perched uphill at the top of the mountain, it offers absolutely gorgeous views over the ocean and the bay, especially at sunrise and sunset. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and generous, and the pool was spotless and very well maintained. «Honestamente, esta fue una opción increíble sobre dónde alojarse en San Juan del Sur. Está lo suficientemente lejos del centro de la ciudad como para que sea tranquilo y puedas escaparte al hotel, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para que en 5 minutos caminando puedas estar en el medio de todo. «Black Pearl is run by a friendly Texan and his wife located a bit up a hill on the north side but still very close to everything. I stayed on the first floor and had magnificent view over the bay. The owner also runs a restaurant in front of the beach (two min walk) where multiple choices of breakfast are served a perfect way to start the day. «The location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach and centre of town. The room and bed were huge, comfortable, clean and cool, and the balcony has a fantastic sea view. The kitchen is basic. We had to call to confirm our check in time as there is no one around when the house is empty. We were the only guests, so we believe this is why they moved us to Casa Andalucia which is an exceptional hotel (as long as you don’t mind the steep hill - which we climbed easily).»
