Staff are amazing however this property is extremely rundown and in need of serious renovation. The food is also of poo quality. The pool is fallling apart and the pictures do not paint the real picture of the hotel. The amazing staff are severely let down by the hotel.

Det som gör boendet bra är den jätteduktiga personalen som alltid är glada trevliga och ytterst hjälpsamma. Såväl i receptionen barerna och matsalen,likaså de som står för båttransporterna. Inredning och putsning och fixning finns det behov av. Personalen är toppen!!

Better than expected!
As Gouna is an expensive place, I thought this hotel would not be so amazing as I got a good price. But I was surprised! Staff were always helpful, food was amazing (actually best hotel food I’ve ever had!). Room was lovely and within walking distance to Downtown. Hourly boat trips to Zaytoona beach. 5/5 bravo!

Upgrade needed ASAP, very weak managment
WE stayed in a very nice water bungalow which suffered from neglect and deferred maintenance to the point where a thatched roof like thing was detached from its mooring and being held up by resting on the light fixture ready to fall any moment, explained to staff, no real concern, and next door, spears of thatch flying in the wind and landing on balcony...the staff is depressed looking and sounding but the place is magical and if well cared for potentially one the best.

Bad Experience
Some hotel personnel were very rude, felt uncomfortable during my stay due to their unfriendly treatment, so instead of spending relaxing time, I spent unpleasant time and was angry quite few times because of the lack of proper guest treatment...I would never ever go there again!!

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig, das Essen im Restaurant ist nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich, das ganze Restaurant ist ziemlich runtergekommen und nicht wirklich sauber, man findet zwar was zum Essen,aber naja ... Die Zimmer haben eine Renovierung bitter nötig, ebenso die öffentlichen Bereiche in den Gästehäusern. Für anspruchslose Gäste die ein günstiges Zimmer zum übernachten suchen weil sie sowieso am Tag Tauchen oder Kiten ist es in Ordnung. Andere Gäste sollten sich lieber nach einem anderen Hotel umsehen. Das Personal ist bemüht und freundlich.

I was surprised all the reviews are 2.3 but it's not true. My experiences , the receptionist are excellent, food very good some stuff are fine . Facilities needs to improve, like rooms equipments, not so clean, but over 3.9 out of 5...I will go back again next year, I suggest that they must improve the room facilities and more alert if the guest need something.. Needs to add staffs in the bathroom.. If all this things done it can be 4.5 out of 5..

Nice view and worst utilization
The only good thing about this hotel is the view, if you're staying in a deluxe bunglow. Otherwise than this, everything is terrible. The quality of the food is below average, the hotel service was unpleasant, we had an empty minibar, neither we had a boiler nor tea/coffee. no dental, shampoo were available. I asked for my free bottle of water and they got it to me next day. The service and stuff were completely unprofessional. Definitely i wouldn't go there again.

Gute Lage, ansonsten negativ.
Katastrophales Badezimmer, Essen schlecht, Einrichtung im Speisesaal ekelig, Stühle draußen mit vogelkot, gesamtes hotel braucht dringend Renovierung. Die Lage ist toll und Hossam an der Bar sehr nett und freundlich. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich und gruffelig. Das Personal wirkt unmotiviert. ....kein wunder bei der schlechten Führung.

Fantastic value all inclusive holiday. Staff were brilliant - cheerful and helpful. Food and drink - good quality and variety. Downtown El Gouna a few minutes walk away for shopping, bars and restaurants. Marinas - use Tuk Tuks (20 Egyptian pounds for up to 3 people). Great snorkelling (dolphins and reef) and diving trips at reasonable cost. Free beach towel (changed daily if required). Fridge, safe, kettle, hair dryer in room. Worst management ever. Rude staff
They did not let us in demanding more than twice the rate I booked on. We had 2 room my sister in law who had an American passport he told her she could stay with that rate not me. They were very snobbish talking to us. The hotel lobby looked terrible and disgusting.
