«I honestly wish we could have stayed here longer! From the outside, this place is very unassuming. The area around it has mostly older buildings. But once you pull into the gates, it's clear why this is a highly rated hotel. Complete with welcome drinks, a luxurious pool, and a very attentive staff, this hotel was the perfect oasis before a rugged stay in the Amazon. «Selina was a great place to stay, as within 15 minutes driving (or less) from the property you can access amazing places to swim, eat tasty and affordable lunches and see monkeys. You can also easily hike to waterfalls. The pool at Selina is really nice. «We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me.
