Michl in Mauthnereck is quietly nestled among forests and nature. This authentic wooden cabin offers a retreat just like in the old days. If you want to truly switch off and appreciate the essentials, you will feel at home here.



The cabin is comfortably furnished and traditionally heated with wood. Lighting the stove is part of the experience and creates a unique, cozy atmosphere.



Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided: a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and dishes. The living room features an HD TV, dining area, and a comfortable sofa (sleeps 1). There is one bedroom with a double bed (sleeps 2) and a gallery room with a pull-out bed (sleeps 2), accessible by a somewhat steeper space-saving staircase. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Wi-Fi is available, but if you prefer, you can go completely offline here.



Additional amenities: washer-dryer, lockable storage for bikes, private garden with seating and barbecue, covered parking, and another parking space. Bed linen, towels, shower gel & shampoo included. Firewood included. 1–2 pets welcome, available for an extra fee.



The self-catering cabin accommodates up to 5 people and is easily accessible by car. Hiking and mountain bike tours start right at your doorstep.

For swimming, visit the idyllic Soboth reservoir or the outdoor pools in St. Oswald and Eibiswald. At Soboth reservoir you can also enjoy stand-up paddling, diving, surfing, or rent a boat.
