The next door pool with free access for hotel guests was popular with the kids. The in in check procedure was quite lengthy and could be done in a more swift manner. The hotel is remotely located, but you get here easily by taking the Metro, line # 52 to Overamstel station situated 300 m from the hotel. This line is however closed for upgrades now in August, so we took # 54 to Spaklerweg instead and walked 12 min (not recommended with suitcases). This was our 2nd stay here. It was a very short walk to the Metro that took you to the city center within 15 minutes. Medro down to Johan Cruyff Arena was also easy and fast, so anyone going to events there would do well to stay here.
