Cozy, romantic, peaceful, quiet, and secluded are some words that come to mind for this cabin that sits on a private chain of lakes in Central Michigan. 6 kayaks, and row boat w/trolling motor included. This property truly has the up north feel about it. Come, relax, and enjoy the view. Soak in the hot tub. Catch a fish. Curl up by the fireplace. Play a game of pool. Bird watch. Everything needed for a relaxing vacation can be found here. Three bedrooms. (One King bed and Two Queens)

*The shore is not sandy, and there is no boat launch. (Not a swimmable lake, more of a fishing lake)

Mount Pleasant is 28 miles away. Things you will find there: Soaring Eagle Casino and waterpark, Breweries, shopping, CMU, restaurants, Jump Station, golf, bowling

Big Rapids is 36 miles away. Things you will find there: Breweries, Ferris State University, shopping, golf, kayaking

Alma is 26 minutes away. Things you will find there: shopping, brewery, movie theater, Alma college.

The 3 above are the largest cities closest to us. The cabin itself is surrounded by small towns, each with their own charm.

Anderson and Girls Orchards and petting zoo is a 10 minute drive (Stanton Michigan)
3 wineries within 20 miles (Mecosta area)
Drag strip 10 minutes away in Mcbride, MI
Crystal Race track in Crystal MI is 25 minutes. Crystal also has a nice swimming beach, shops, and an old movie theater

Peaceful stay
Beautiful little cottage in the middle of nowhere. It was very peaceful. We enjoyed most of our stay other than the water smelled like sewage/rotten eggs. Which made it difficult to shower. Place looked mostly clean- i seen another dogs fur on stovetop and blanket in basement. Which made me it feel like the place wasntclean.

Great lake house
Really nice and comfortable house. The extra amenities like pool table and foosball table are a definite plus. Smart TVs allow us to login to our own streaming accounts. Very nicely refurbished. Made good use of the kayaks, fire pit, gas grill, hot tub, and screened-in porch. Fortunately we had weather that was cool enough at night to open windows and cool down the house. The one little AC unit upstairs would have a hard time keeping the whole house cool in very warm weather.

Wonderful house on the water
My family has stayed in quite a few home rentals. This was our favorite. My son spent the entire time fishing. There were two birds nests (which we were careful not to upset). It was a natural paradise. We also enjoyed the hot tub--it was clean and hot.

Great little lake house!
We took a few days for a girls trip just to get out of Lansing for awhile. This was the perfect rural getaway! The scenery was breathtaking after the snow storm and I felt like I was in a magical little cabin. The furniture was cozy and comfy, the place was clean and so super cute and charming. We can't wait to come back in summer so we can properly enjoy this little lake house AND the lake!

Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I stayed from August 27th to August 31st to celebrate our 24th anniversary. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. The lake house was super clean, updated, and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare a meal. The king bed was super soft, which I really liked! I slept wonderfully!! My husband, however, likes a more firm mattress. lol We spent most of our time sitting on the covered/screened-in deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed several soaks in the hot tub as well. The area doesn't have much to do as far as recreation or sightseeing, but that was fine with us as we were looking to just relax and have some downtime. We appreciated all the little touches like the welcome basket with treats and the bottle of sparkling cider that was left for us, so thank you, Amber, you really make your guest feel extra special!

Fantastic Getaway
House was clean. Amenities were extremely fun lake, boat, fire pit, hot-tub, pool table were all great. Only issue that homeowner can’t fix is the neighbors mosquito brewing pit in the yard. Stagnant water just breeds so many. Maybe we can get a county permit to have the neighbor fill it in haha just bring bug spray. Amazing stay nonetheless thank you.

Beautiful location on the Lake
We loved all the amenities at the property. The hot tub and pool table were wonderful. The lake is peaceful. The only issue we had was that after a big storm on the third night, the roads and lake became flooded. We couldn’t walk to the boat dock, and the road to the property was closed due to flooding which made it hard to go in and out during the last 2 days. We barely were able to drive through the water in a Toyota Forerunner. Owner was helpful and says the flooding doesn’t happen often.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This property is beautiful! Nice big, flat yard, nice dock and fun lake “toys”. The host of this property was amazing! Very attentive and quickly responds to questions. House had simple amenities that made things much easier (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, coffee, s’mores sticks, wood and much more)! The welcome basket was a sweet addition as well! I would definitely recommend this property to others! Thank you for a wonderful family weekend get away!

Awesome Experience
My wife and I loved our stay at the Blue Heron Point. The small amenities were a great touch. The place was warm and welcoming. The only disappointment was the row boat and the kayaks. All feel unstable in the water. The orange kayak isn't enjoyable. The muck/lily pads made it difficult to get the boats into the middle of the lake. This is strictly nitpicking on our stay. Thank you for a wonderful getaway! I would be remiss if I didn't compliment the hot tub. I think we used it 4 times in three nights. It was a great way to end each night!

Feels like home
This cabin is so cozy, yet has room for a good size family! We were surprised at all the space! We really loved the updates that were made, but also noticed they kept some "original" things that made it feel like a family cabin. My husband and I brought our kayaks and did a lot of fishing. The lake is easy to fish and we caught lots of crappie and large mouth bass! We found the beds to be comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and we loved how quiet the lake was. The neighbors were also extremely friendly. I would not recommend the lake as a good swimming spot, but definitely great for kayaking and fishing.

Family Visit
We were looking for a place to stay while visiting relatives in the area. This place looked to good to be true. It lives up to its photos and description. The house is clean and furnished for comfort. There is a lot to keep you busy, all right on site. Since we were visiting family, we did not use all the amenities, but those we used: the hot tub, pool table, basement fireplace and fire pit table on the screen porch, were all great. In addition, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best we have used in a Vrbo rental. It does take a while to get hot water in the kitchen (as we expected after reading the intro information and it was not a big deal), but we didn’t have that issue with the shower. Frequently rentals have nice looking furniture that isn’t the most comfortable. We found the couches and chairs at Blue Heron Point to be very comfortable. This home is set up to provide a comfortable environment with things to do no matter what the weather. In addition, Amber was great to work with and very responsive. We look forward to future visits.
