Top hotel in Edinburgh
Perfect location on the Royal Mile. Very nice rooms with good beds. Spotless clean. Good breakfast also. I have been here many times and will surely come again.

Dårlig service og dårlig standard. Bråkete hotell.
Veldig dyrt for hva du får. Lever ikke opp til standarden hos andre Radisson Blu hoteller. Hadde superior room i 3 dager. Fikk et lite hjørnerom i 5 etasje. Sengen er ikke kingsize, den er Queen. Klagde til resepsjonen men de sa alle «kingsize» sengene var den størrelsen. Vi hadde ikke sittekrok som vist på bildene på nettsiden. Det følger ikke med kjøleskap. Måtte ringe og be om det. Det trekker fra alle vinduene så selv om du tar på varme er rommet iskaldt. De forsøkte å fikse det ene vinduet første dagen, men det bare spratt opp igjen pga kraftig vind ute. De fyller ikke opp når du går tom for shampoo og balsam. Det er ingen kaffemaskin kun tekoker. Nesten ingen ansatte snakket ordentlig engelsk. Veldig busy ved frokostbuffeten og det pågår vedlikehold utenfor så det dunker høyt. Hver kveld og natt kunne man høre musikk og feststøy fra puber i nærheten. Poolområde er fint men igjen så gjør de ikke rent. Håndkler og lange svarte hår overalt... spaet hadde heller ingen ledige tider. Det virker som de prioriterer andre enn hotellets gjester. Det eneste gode med dette hotellet er at det ligger sentralt og man kan gå til absolutt alt som ligger i bykjernen. Hadde ikke anbefalt det til noen eller bodd her igjen. Veldig skuffet! Betalte 6400kr for 3 netter med frokost. Gjør deg selv en tjeneste og book et annet hotel!

Alt var bra bortsett fra rydding av rommet. Brukt såpe/sjampo ble ikke erstattet og skitne glass ble ikke byttet. Savnet sterkt kjøleskap/minibar på rommet. Deilig frokost og perfekt beliggenhet!

Generelt sett et bra hotell. Vennlige ansatte, superdyktig bartender hos itchycoo bar. Gabi på melrose sleeping beauty spa anbefales for en time out. Det eneste som trekker ned er vindu som ikke går an å åpne. Ellers perfekt sted.

Fabelaktig beliggenhet!
Beliggenheten er fabelaktig midt i sentrum, så det er gåavstand til det meste, mange gode spisesteder i nærheten. Vi følte oss godt mottatt i resepsjon og av personalet forøvrig. Pene lokaler, stille, fint rom med utsikt til Arthurs Seat, god seng, pent bad. Dessverre lekkasje fra badekaret under veggen og ut på gulvet på rommet. Deilig frokost med gode valgmuligheter - mmm pannekakemaskin!

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Its location is right on the Royal mile, so there is ready access to excursion pick up locations, restaurants, and shops.The staff really goes that extra little bit to assist and help make the experience great.

Like all hotels nowadays, there is an effort to be more green. While that's commendable, unless it's done well, it becomes a joke. If they want me to reuse the towels, there needs to be places to hang them. How much would a few hooks cost to install? No hooks, no towel bar, I can't hang them to dry. And who came up with these half-door showers? A moron, that's who, and all the hotels that bought into this idea are short-sighted. Water goes all over, causing issues they probably didn't think about. Get curtains. Get full glass door and walls. Keep the floor and walls dry. Also... I guess wash cloths are no longer offered. Why not. Towels used to be a standard amenity. No longer. We had to ask for more. No hand-face towels? Really. Just bath towels. What's this all about? Otherwise, probably the best breakfast buffet of my trip. Outstanding. Quiet, clean room. Comfortable beds.

It was right on the Royal mile close to restaurants, bus tours, train station. Spacious room & nice offerings. We liked the late check out at 12 PM.

This was a nice hotel in a great location but it was so cold. I had to call reception twice to ask them to put the heating on in my room, the pool was too cold to use and the temperature in the lounge and restaurant was uncomfortable at best. Such a shame - we booked this hotel especially for the pool but taking a swim was more an act of endurance than a pleasurable experience. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you want to be warm!!
