Nice and convenient hotel
The hotel has a very central and convenient location! Rooms were nicely furnished and offered a good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast hostess who made everyone laugh. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative: Due to the connecting doors, you could hear the neighbors quite well, and pillows were quite hard.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold her og vil gjerne komme tilbake hit! Hyggelige rom, komfortable senger, kaffe og te på rommet, hyggelig gest med en flaske gratis vann. Fantastisk god frokost etter min mening, godt utvalg og mulighet for å få laget en fersk omelett etter ønske! Vi ble ønsket hjertelig velkommen til frokost av superhyggelige Kym ( Guest Relations) - det har mye å si for opplevelsen! Anbefales!

Kjempebra opphold
Hotellet ligger sentralt og praktisk til med tanke på både severdigheter, restauranter og shopping. Det var litt vanskelig å finne frem til hotellet pga. byggearbeidene som preger området (Google var ikke oppdatert). Byggearbeidene fortsatte selv i helgen. Dette er ikke noe som hotellet kan direkte for, men det er noe som er verdt å ta med. Det hotellet derimot kan utbedre, er når (hvor tidlig) søppeldunkene blir tatt i bruk. Når det er sagt, ble jeg tatt godt imot ved ankomst. Personalet i resepsjonen ga gode svar på spørsmålene mine. Hyggelig personale i frokostsalen. Frokostsalen bød på et variert og velsmakende utvalg. WiFi var stabilt. Rommet var pent, og det var lite støy fra naborommene og gangen. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

Veldig fornøyd
Vi var fem søske med partnere som bodde på hotellet i tre netter og var veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Frokosten var bra og all betjening var veldig hyggelige. Vi hadde betalt for frukost den siste dagen også, men siden vi skulle reise så tidlig rakk vi ikke å spise. Vi spurte om det var mulig å få med oss frukostpakker i stedet for, og det var ingen problem. Beliggenheten var helt super.

Hotel was very centrally located. It's essentially across the street from the Waverley train station which made it a good choice for me. Staff was friendly and efficient. Only real complaint was that there was construction happening and there was a bunch of scaffolding directly outside my window, so I kept the blinds mostly closed so workers couldn't see in. It was also a bit noisy in the mornings when they started working, but otherwise that's more of an unlucky timing thing than a major issue. I'd stay there again if I was in Edinburgh on another trip, as it was a good spot and very convenient for getting around the main attractions of the city.

We loved the location of Leonardo Royal and the staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the main train station. There are steps and a passageway right thru the property leading up to The High Street, which has numerous restaurants, pubs, churches, and at the top, Edinburgh Castle - all walking distance. Staff were wonderful, stored our luggage until check in, offered directions and dining suggestions. Would stay here again.

Property was in a great location. Only thing I would say is that hotel restaurant needs better menu selection and to actually have the items that are on the menu.
