Flott
Flott hotell som ligger nær både attraksjoner og shopping. Rommene var gode og personalet var serviceinnstilte og hjelpsomme. Det er også lett å komme seg til hotellet fra flyplassen med trikken.

Hotell med topp service!
Oppholdet var det femte oppholdet . Det var noen år siden jeg besøkte hotellet . Standard og service var om mulig ennå bedre enn sist gang. Frokosten meget god , baren utmerket. Serevice og vennlig oppfølging helt på topp

Hotellet ligger fantastisk til - bare en liten spasertur til gamlebyen. Hotellet har et historisk sus over seg! Rommene er ikke store men meget fine i design. Ikke minst er sengen knallgod.

Vi hadde i forkant sendt epost om at vi skulle ha to separate senger. Hadde også betalt ekstra for dette, og for å få et superior rom. Fikk imidlertid en liten seng i et lite rom....Ikke ideelt for to godt voksne søstre.... Etter å ha brukt mye tid i resepsjonen, endret hotellet dette dag 2.

Bra beliggenhet. Bra rom. Dårlig kapasitet og sen service i resepsjon. Heiskapasitet veldig dårlig på grunn av ombygging. Mye tid til venting.

Weekend i Edinburgh
Flott hotell med avslappet atmosfære og klassisk stil. Særdeles vennlig og imøtekommende betjening. Godt kjøkken, og stort utvalg av drikke,,,, både med og uten alkohol. Meget sentrumsnær beliggenhet, og likevel stille inne. Anbefales.

We love the location of this hotel, the breakfast was outstanding, and we were allowed to check in early. The only negative I can possibly think of is that the bathroom didn't have enough counter space. Other than that this stay was perfect!

Wonderful location and welcoming staff. We had a comfortable stay and the room was always stocked with plenty of complementary snacks and water. The room was small but that was to be expected. The bathroom was tiny and the shower design was a bit lacking as the floor was easily flooded by the shower if not extremely careful. Overall a lovely stay for our family of four.

Special hotel.
Wonderful hotel. Panoramic view of the Firth of Forth from our room stunning. The only irritation was music in the breakfast room. Staff bent over backwards to consider us but it didn’t stop the music.

5 Sterne Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr unkompliziert. Das Hotel liegt perfekt zur Princess Street und in der Nahzone zur Royal Mile. Ausserdem sind rund um das Hotel viele Lokale mit leckerem Essen angesiedelt. Früstück im Hotel sehr gut!

Intercontinental The George 3 night stay
We visit Edinburgh once a year & have stayed in various locations. We booked the Intercontinental based on the location as we were planning to be in New Town more for this visit. We were checked in quickly with all relevant information passed on & found our room to be lovely. We had already planned our visit so other than breakfast we did not eat at the hotel, however breakfast was exceptional. Amar in the restaurant made sure each day that all was well & was very attentive. The food for breakfast was well cooked & hot - we both mentioned it was the best hotel breakfast we had eaten. Having stayed in many hotels we will most definitely return to the intercontinental & would highly recommend it to all as it had everything spot on - Thankyou. We were actually there for my husbands birthday & we were treated to an upgrade to the club room one morning for breakfast. I don’t believe you were aware of that, but it made the break even more memorable - Thankyou
