«We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together»

«We had a great stay at the Old Brewery Barn with our children (7 months and 2.5 years) and my husband's parents. The house was very well setup and clean, and was so thoughtfully setup with baby gear. Everything worked well and was comfortable and easy. The little village is adorable and makes access to the rest of the Lake District very easy. We would love to stay again sometime when we can enjoy the garden as well!»

The location is perfect for getting to many beautiful locations, there is a well-stocked small grocery store down the block and parking was always available. «Great house, looked brand new. Very light and airy, located in a complex with others. We took our grown up children and the bedrooms were great. The parking was a little tight for such a big property, but as it was early season we managed fine. Building more houses on site so suspect it may be noisy during the week, but it was closed at the weekend. Lovely little village pub that does food a stone's throw away and lots of nice walks»
