We loved the proximity to the Sundown life (across the parking lot), and we were able to ride the lift up and then ski ‘slowpoke’ to the other side of Powder Mountain. We took the shuttle back every day from Timberline Lodge, and this was super quick and easy (there was not a way to ski back to the condo while we were there). The condo is spacious and held our family easily. Just some things to note—the water got cold quickly if more than one person took a shower in a row, so we learned to space out our showers—the garage is long, but our Tahoe barely squeezed in by width and height, and if we parked the Tahoe in the garage, there was not enough room to walk around it to get outside. We parked our Tahoe right outside the garage so it wasn’t a problem for us. The only food option near the condo is a pizza place inside Sundown lift’s ski ‘lodge,’ but it was delicious and convenient. Buy groceries before you head up to the condo since the nearest store is 15 minutes back down the mountain. We drove to Eden one night for dinner since the roads were clear, but we made dinner most nights in the condo. We ate lunch at Timberline Lodge (cafe style place with burgers, chicken fingers and pizza upstairs with a Ramen restaurant/bar downstairs) during the day of skiing. Powder Mountain was amazing for skiing and there were no lift lines even on the weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful too! We absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back!
