Eclectic

House was in the perfect location. Kids could just off the dock and float in the water but also plenty of space to boat/ tube for hours. Kids really enjoyed the games inside the house as well.

Beautiful current remodel, plenty of open space for family to gather, big dining table and the dock was perfect for fishing and a very cold May plunge into the lake.

Sweet 16

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful lake cabin celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday with some of her best friends. This cabin is perfect for making lots of precious memories. Danielle the host was great at responding to questions and provided well informed check-in/check-out directions. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing lake house

Weekend Golf Retreat

When 4 golf buddies were planning a trip to AL to play some of the courses on the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Golf Trail, we were looking for affordable, convenient lodging. Danielle's home far exceeded our needs and expectations, and at the end of the trip, we all expressed a little disappointment that we didn't stay a little longer just to enjoy her home and its many amenities on beautiful Lake Martin. Our pre- and post-golf outing get togethers at her home were so enjoyable and pleasant. The house is "as advertised", and you can't beat the beautiful, peaceful environment that surrounds the house. Rent this home with confidence that you are going to enjoy it!

Peaceful paradise

We had a nice relaxing week on the lake. The house is beautiful with a great dock for swimming and sunsets! The big ice machine was a great bonus...might have to invest in one for my own house lol! The property has a great big driveway, beautiful bathrooms, enormous kitchen table and kitchen was nicely stocked. Danielle was great too! Thanks again for opening your lake house to us.

Great week @ Lake Martin

The home was fabulous! Very clean and comfortable! Nice location, beautiful lake front property. The dock, gazebo, and swim area was perfect! We rented a boat from nearby Marina. Enjoyed long days on the lake. Boat rides to lunch and dinner! We also cooked many meals at night in the well supplied kitchen. The ice maker was a life saver for our boating days! We would love to come back. Great communication with owner and sweet neighbors!

Two family getaway

Wonderful first time to Lake Martin. The house was perfect- clean, just as described, perfect location, room for two boat trailers & 2 SUV's. Master bed was comfy. Kitchen had everything you needed. Kids loved the dock area and kayak. Only downfall, if you would even call it that, is that the dock wasn't equipped for two boats. Metal cleats & bumpers would have been great, but we made do without.

Super Fun Sibling Trip

This year’s annual sibling/spouse trip was our favorite yet! The home was perfect for the six of us and was so cozy and welcoming. The decor is first class, nice linens, and plenty of space to spread out. We spent our days on the beautiful lake in our boat or on the dock. Our evenings were spent around the wonderful table eating low fuss meals, playing new card games, and making memories! The kitchen was well-stocked and had plenty of space in the cabinets, not to mention the awesome ice maker! We also loved the variety of seating spaces outside. Coffee under the gazebo and cocktails on the porch! Highly recommend Chuck’s Pizza and Jake’s for yummy food, Be aware - most restaurants aren’t open during the week. Highly, highly recommend this property!!

Fourth of July at Lake Martin

We had a great time at Lake Martin. The property was great. It was in a really nice location. You are positioned on a quiet inlet type spot on the lake. There is some lake traffic but not so much that it is hard to swim or kayak around this side. We rented a boat for a few days and it was only about 10 minutes from a marina. The property is nice and has recently been updated. The entire inside looks like a brand new home. Danielle was really easy to communicate with prior and during the trip. The upstairs and downstairs are only connected by walking outside, wasn't a big deal for us and gave some privacy for some family to stay down there and some upstairs. The only thing that some may find annoying was the lawn guy came around 8:30 am one day (didn't bother us we have little kids and were up.) Overall the property was perfect for our family, clean, easy check in and out, it was a great time. We are already planning our trip back. Danielle was a great host, thank you.

Great Property on Lake Martin!

This was an excellent property on Lake Martin. We stayed here Here 5 days and four nights over Labor Day Weekend. The property was very clean and extremely well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It also came with a separate ice machine that was excellent for keeping coolers and glasses filled during our stay. We brought two boats with us and there was pleanty of parking for both vehicles and boat trailers. A boat ramp was close and easy to launch and recover when needed. The location was excellent and close to such places as The Landing, Kowligas, The Social, Chimney Rock, the Dam and plenty of coves to pull the boats up to. Turn on some music, relax and float the afternoon away. The host was very easy to communicate with and repled to my questions right away. Everything she told me was right on the money. The property had pleanty of boat space at the dock and was able to get two boats tied up with pleanty of room to spare. The dock was a excellent place to hang out on and watch the beautiful sunsets. The dock also provided a great place for the kids as well as the adults to jump from, swim and float. The lower seating area was very comfortable to hang out at and the gas grill provided a place to cook Labor Day hamburgers. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at Lake Martin. I will give this a 10 out of 10 and would almost guarantee that you will have a great time at this house. We will for sure rebook this one our selves.

The property was great! The beds were comfortable and the game room was great to watch football and the younger kids could play. The only negative is the downstairs is not connect by internal stairs and the path way is not covered to walk outside. If it was raining it would be an inconvenience for sure but we were lucky to have amazing weather.

Beautiful Location

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend. The house wonderful, and right on the water. The house is split into top and bottom, but this worked wonderful for us. Those who wanted to enjoy the games and pool table could stay up late! The downstairs is beautifully updated and the master is so spacious and nice!
