My dream came true staying at this beautiful home to enjoy lake life with my family and closest friends. The home was incredible! Beautiful and spacious for us all to be together comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook for a large group. Comfortable beds, cozy living room and nice dining room for gathering to eat or play games.The yard was spectacular!!! We enjoyed our morning coffee outside on the spacious patio looking out on the beautiful view of the surroundings and lake. We were able to dock the boat along with two jet skis. The kayaks and paddle board were easily accessible and in great condition. As was the gas grill.Thank you to the wonderful property management company for being so efficient and friendly. It was evident that they truly cared about providing us assistance when needed.

We traveled to Eatonton for a Celebration of Life for our son-in-law. So grateful that Dare to Dream was available to host us. As sad as the occasion was we were able to be together as a family with the room and space to spread out. The home was as described, very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every meal at home, utilized to dock, kayaks and paddle board. Had an exceptional time. The grandkids unanimously agree we should do this every year. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you.

Great Lake Trip

We had a great time at this lake house over July 4th weekend. Our family ranges in age from 3-65, and the house and property could not have been better. 2 weeks before our trip a family member was injured, requiring a kneeling scooter.. While it may not be fully ADA accessible, having many main floor bedrooms and a ramp from the upper deck that goes all the way down to the dock was perfect! When we arrived, we had an issue with the grill, but the property manager had someone come out right away who was able it replaced very quickly. All in all, great stay. Would recommend for any family!

Spacious and quiet

Lovely cove off the main channel, quiet and peaceful. Mom is 88 and had no trouble getting down to the dock and on the boat. While not advertised, the whole house is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended

A Great Place for Families

One of the best places we've stayed as a family! We loved the layout, outdoor spaces, and location on the lake. Great communication and policies were clearly outlined. It's a bummer about the lake depth, but we still had a blast.

Great Lake Getaway

Dare to Dream did not disappoint! The pictures cannot convey the beauty and serenity of this property. The lake views were so inviting. Dare to Dream had so much to offer inside and out. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, the firepit and the patio spaces. The layout of the home allowed everyone to spread out and yet we found ourselves gathering for fun and laughter in the game room upstairs, the dining room and the great room. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the updated appliances. And the beds were comfortable. If you are looking for a weekend getaway by the lake with your family and friends, Dare to Dream should be one your top picks.

Family-Friendly and Loaded with all the Necessities!

We had a trip with friends and their young families. Children ranged from 6 months to 5 years old. The property was even better in person than what was described online. Simply stunning property. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need to cook and prep with. The backyard has plenty of toys and the AC works great. The upstairs room was perfect for the kids to play and watch movies in. The only thing I would recommend that the host do is to spray some pest control round the house. There seems to be a wasp nest under the back deck that was a little unfortunate. Other than that, truly one of a kind property and we were all so happy with our stay in Oconee. Great memories were made!

Amazing experience at Dare to Dream!

We absolutely LOVED our vacation at Dare to Dream! For us, the location of the house was perfect. The cove was quiet and while the water depth was shallow, we had no issues docking our boat. The kids (5 ranging from 2 yrs to 8 yrs) loved jumping off the dock as well as kayaking and paddle boarding in the area. We were located very close to 2 marina's so renting a boat was very easy. We took several trips to the jumping rock and rope swing which were about a 30 min boat ride. The house itself was perfect! The yard was great, with lots of room to run and throw the ball. We also loved making smores at night in the firepit. The inside was cozy and well maintained. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and sleep comfortably. The customer service was also top notch. We had an issue with the AC not cooling on one side of the house on day 1 and there was a technician out within a hour to fix it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away at Lake Oconee and can't wait to go back!

Amazing Family Vacation

The house was just as it was pictured and extremely clean. I can’t say enough about all the different activities that were available! My family and I were able to kayak, paddle board, fish, play corn hole and use the massive back yard for other outdoor games! We used the fireplace on multiple nights. We had talked about renting a boat but never even needed to due to everything there was to do at the house! The lake was shallow off the dock but no one seemed to mind as it’s plenty deep for floating around and soaking up the sun! Definitely 10/10 experience and would stay there again!

Wonderful house, very quiet

Super clean, very well stocked. Beautiful location. The dock was really large and great for evenings. My favorite thing about this house was that it was easy to get away from the big group and relax, read and be quiet. Lots of little spaces inside and outside to get some quiet. Thank you for stocking the kitchen so thoroughly, and playthings too (paddle board, kayaks, cornhole, Foosball)

Great house; fantastic view!

This is a great house, not perfect of course but it was very clean, has a great outside & views, is very well stocked with pretty much anything you might need. The house is very nice & decorated lovely. The owners were fantastic!

Amazing property! EVERYTHING you need is there. We took our children and grandchildren. Plenty of life jackets, kayaks and a paddle board. No detail was overlooked. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and tranquil. Debbie and Eva are so gracious! We will most definitely be back!!!

Lake vacation

House was very nice and very well stocked and property well kept. Was a really nice quiet area with quick and easy access to main parts of the lake and shops/restaurants. Had a minor issue with the house alarm system that was worked on quickly with management and did not disrupt the rest of our stay. The only less than ideal item which is outside the control of owner or property manager is the depth at the dock. Listing clearly states it is only 3.5 ft deep so nothing is misrepresented. Just something for future renters to be aware of. Makes swimming around not really possible and when the lake drops (as it does almost daily) as then it’s really low and less usable. Perfectly fine for fishing, kayaks, paddle boards and even jetskis…all of which we were able to do during our stay.

Look no further, this home exceeded all expectations!!

This home….the location, the yard, the layout, the cleanliness, the dock, the quiet cove, the fire pit, the decor, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations, the pictures absolutely do this property no justice! The pictures drew us in and are great, but in person, this home was simply the BEST! We loved it and would recommend it over and over and over!! Very inviting and comfortable!

Very clean house and loved the layout inside and out. Had an outing with older family members so 1 floor inside and only a few steps outside to get to dock was perfect. Enjoyed the peaceful dock inlet because it was not on the main waterway.

Perfect for families

Our stay was great! We celebrated my mother’s retirement with my family, parents and some close friends. There’s plenty of room. Four bedrooms on the first floor was ideal. The kids slept and played upstairs. The home has everything you want and need! I was impressed by how prepared the home was. It was also very clean which made it easy to get comfortable. We used both kayaks and the boys caught their first fish with the fishing poles provided! I can’t say enough great things about the home. I’m still thinking about how special our trip was weeks later.

Beyond Expectation

We're home now and we'd rather be at this property. We had an amazing long family weekend (Three families, we do this annually and we will be back to this house). The home is lovely, spacious, immaculate, and has everything you need. The hosts are FANTASTIC, I have to admit I bothered them more than usual (just looking for things). They got back to me within minutes and always had the solution. Some great features: Two masters on opposite sides of the house, we had an infant with us, so it was great to give them the space and privacy they needed. The wifi works really well -- my son worked from the sunroom with zero problems being on Zoom calls or getting to what he needed at his office. The Kitchen, OMY! We've been to a lot of VRBOs and this kitchen was by far the best stocked, the only thing we couldn't find was a liquid measuring cup. There were three cooks in that kitchen and we wanted for nothing. The Hosts are spectacular. We even left a baby bottle warmer behind and they are going to mail it back to us. I cannot say enough about how great Deb and Nicole are. They even left a welcome gift for us -- just extremely thoughtful. The backyard. You don't need to go anywhere with this terrific backyard. The dock is perfect to just hang out on and watch the Cranes with your morning coffee. There is a wood path from the deck all the way to the dock (a bonus for sure). The kayaks were great fun. Terrific decks, lots of outdoor furniture with umbrellas for dining. They've even got a firepit, the first time I've had smores in twenty years. We loved this house, we will be back, it is perfect for a large family gathering. Plenty of room and a great outside environment. If you're seeking quiet lake time, this is the place. It's lovely.
