«It is a lovely, stately old mansion just like you expect of Galveston. Built in the 1860’s and recently renovated over a three year period. It is located only about four blocks from the cruise terminal and is ideal if you are cruising. The owner is a great guy and has other property nearby that includes a parking lot. If you stay at the manor you can park your car in the lot and he will drive you to the terminal. Talk about service. There is a live in chef onsite and he prepares your breakfast ...

«This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!»

«The air in the room was on full blast and everything in the room was wet. The floors, counter tops, furniture. Woke up the next morning to cockroaches roaming around. Also had to pay another deposit when we checked in. They said we would get it back when we checked out, but in reality it was 5 days. Definitely not worth the $ we spent. Also the pool is a joke it’s about the size of a parking spot. I’m sure it was a last minute decision. Only good thing was waking up to the ocean rt there. Next ...

«Decent place to stay. It was a pretty typical $125-$150 hotel. I wouldn’t pay more than that. Parking is a bit of a mess. Elevators were fast. Just request being away from the dogs. Several with dogs and the barking was annoying.»

«This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table. ...

«The rooms are clean and spacious. The parking garage is away from the hotel. So when you check in ensure to take down your stuff with you or else you have to drag your beach stuff and luggage from 1/2 a block away. The staff was nice and hotel had nice beach views.»
