The Space:

This spacious retreat is great for families, but is perfect for any group of travelers, or even the solo traveler or couple. This is a very large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home - almost 1,800 sqft - with a large fenced back yard (completely private) detached game room/gym, and hiking trails right on the property! From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect backdrop for quality time with your loved ones. There are two separate living rooms, a drop dead gorgeous kitchen, and a large fully fenced yard, perfect for games and the pets! There is also a short trail up the hill to a lookout deck with amazing mountain and valley views, perfect for happy hour! After a day of exploring the area, nothing beats unwinding in your private hot tub on the covered deck. Soak your cares away and gaze at the star-studded Colorado skies. This home boasts luxurious furnishings and modern amenities, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Plush leather sofas, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms await you. The entire 2nd level is the master suite with it's own balcony, massive closet, and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is on the main level and is equipped with three twins, and a full. Also, the home is equipped with refreshing AC for the warmer summer months! The vibrant downtown area of Durango is just a 5 min drive away, giving you access to an array of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. Whether you want to savor a gourmet meal or explore the local art scene, it's all within reach. There are also restaurants right across the street you can walk to such as Pop Sushi, Dominos, Bread Cafe, and Machos Mexican Restaurant. Durango is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, and our vacation rental is your perfect basecamp. Hiking, mountain biking, and river activities are all easily accessible. Fort Lewis College is also only 2.5 miles away. Not to mention world class skiing at Purgatory Ski Resort just 27 miles away! Guest Access:

Keypad entry with a code. You have access to the whole house! There is another separate unit below this one, so there may be other renters there. We have sound isolated the two units. If you want to rent the other unit as well for large groups or two separate families (sleeps up to 15), that is possible! Host can send you the link to book the other unit if available.



The Neighborhood:

This is close enough to downtown for convenience, but far enough away to rest and relax! Easy access to the north side of Durango as well. Purgatory Ski Area a quick 30 minute drive or less! This is just outside of the city limits with restaurants, such as pop sushi, within walking distance. Train station 3 miles away, Fort Lewis College 2.5 miles, and Purgatory ski resort 27 miles.



Getting Around:

There is a very large parking area that can accommodate many vehicles, trailers, bikes, boats and more!
