«We only found Cavanans by accident, but we’re so glad we did. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We particularly liked that they could be accessed from both the internal corridor and the courtyard, making it incredibly easy to pull the car right up outside the room to unload and load luggage. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. What really made our stay stand out ...

«Sentral, god beliggenhet. Ikke trafikkstøy på vårt rom, men støyende gjester i korridoren hørtes godt. Hadde «ikke forstyrr» til kl.10.10 en dag, da lå det lapp at vi måtte ringe om vi likevel ønsket rengjøring. Vi ringte, men det ble ikke rengjort. Fikk nye håndklær etter henvendelse til resepsjonen. Treningsenteret er stort (åpent for andre enn hotellgjester) og helt OK.»

The shower wasn’t great - it couldn’t decide between the temperature I set and scolding hot and freezing cold - meaning that it was a stressful shower! The air con is incredibly weak, meaning the room was really, really hot on the 4th floor. «The whole 3 nights were so easy and chilled. Then a fantastic breakfast every morning cooked and served by Larry. Larry is such a welcoming host .nothing too much for him and a weakth of local knowledge. Cant wait to rerurn in the summer. We had a family room and was very spacious and clean all in pine to keep the charm of this rustic farm manor house . Definitely return !»
