The bathroom fan and heat lamp didn't work so there was mold on the showerhead and grab bar on the shower. Wallpaper was curling up. Floors in the entire room needed deep cleaning. There was water on the window sill. No cover on the heater control panel. The only ceiling light in the room quit working and the lamps were very dim. Beds were clean and comfortable. The waterpark needs a complete overhaul. The play structures were covered in rust and missing paint. The adult hot tub was closed our entire stay, as was the basketball pool area. The snack shack was closed one day of our stay. On our last day, the systems were down so no cards could be used to purchase items at the gift shop/snack area. The lobby area was freezing, and you had to walk through it on the way to and from the waterpark. Many arcade games weren't working. The meeting room we rented served us well, and Max and Brittney were incredible host and hostess for our group. The food from Tony Roma's was delicious, except for the sirloin steak, which was so chewy it couldn't be eaten. The free breakfast was amazing, but the milk and juice machine were broken. Check in was quick and easy. Every employee we encountered was friendly, smiling, and greeted us with a smile. We all had a wonderful time, and it's a safe, gorgeous location on the Mississippi, but it could use a major renovation. We'll definitely be back, and are hoping they have improvements and updates on the horizon.
