«The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. «Lovely staff. The breakfast wasn’t good though. I read so many reviews that said it was great and the muffins were baked fresh. It was a plastic wrapped blueberry muffin, and a piece of lemon cake. Two clementines and two bananas, and 2 coffees that tasted burnt and was given 4 sugars and 4 creamers. Wasn’t too thrilled about the jacuzzi and didn’t use it. The jets weren’t the cleanest. Needs a lot of updates.»

«Kidding me?? Woke up to screaming seagulls at 5am going through next doors property’s dumpsters right outside our rooms backyard. And two chairs to sit on if we wanted to watch with weeds also. Obviously this hotels manager knows about this and doesn’t give a crap about seagulls waking up travelers at 5 am and then he called me “ boss” instead of “ SiR”. What a dump!!! We have stayed in many of the cottages, and on the houseboat (which was a wonderful experience), but our favorite is the Bluffs first floor. The property is pristine, the cottages are modern, clean, warm and welcoming. It is so peaceful to look out at the water and forget about the craziness of life. You won’t be disappointed!»

«Hotel Maria is a real gem- low-key beach front, impeccably clean with a wonderful Italian restaurant right there overlooking the beach.
