Two repair suggestions: bathtub drain needs tweaking; water went down before I could have a bath. Also, water leaks around sink faucets. «The TV did not work in my room so I asked to be moved to a different room. In the the new room, the sink had a leak. They charge you for breakfast but they do not provided you anything more then the standard continental breakfast that you can get free just about anywhere else. It was not worth the price.»

«We were there three days. The property is old but fairly well maintained. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The clerk at the desk was very nice but the fellow watching over the breakfast was thoroughly annoying, cutting in and taking over the process of my making my waffle. I was unable to have tea during my stay as they did not have any milk. Would have thought someone would have taken the initiative to go to the store to have milk on hand. No cereal option because of lack of ...

«I have been staying at the Globe, on and off, for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. It is much more interesting than your typical "Hotel McMuffin" (Don't expect new and modern just interesting and comfortable.) The current, new management team has worked hard to keep it special. (The free, made to order breakfast, is just icing on the cake.) The only caution I would raise is the lack of an elevator. I'm fine with two flights of narrow steps but if you're not, I would suggest ...

«Staff here were all so nice and helpful! The lobby and parking areas were very well maintained. Breakfast was nice. Shower stall/tub and soap situation (no body wash only hand soap?) was the only negative - since I was on an outdoorsy trip it was kind of a letdown but the room was great otherwise.»

«A beautifully maintained hotel that was a great place to spend the night. We stayed in the tower with two and adults and two kids and was great to have three different levels, including the sitting room at the top with windows all around. The snacks in the communal sitting area was much appreciated and breakfast was very nice.»

«Front desk staff were not friendly at all. We booked a suite for 7, we got 3 towels, when I asked for more, they acted like I was taking all they had! We stayed 2 nights, housekeeping did not update towels, toilet paper, etc. I had to ask for it, was told to bring dirty tags downstairs to switch out that housekeeping does not do this until you checkout. Breakfast was good but the space was too small for the amount of people that was there.»
