Firstly, you need to be very sure about which building it is as there are a few buildings in this establishment, one of it being the Swissotel. The main facilities and reception is at Swissotel. A buggy will bring you to the other building. Directions are also not very clear so the drivers were confused. Our building was G- Gardenia. It was a 3 bedded apartment.
Pros:
- very spacious living room and kitchen with dining.
- common balcony for living room and one room
-all rooms had attached bathrooms. There was another common one near the kitchen.
-about 20 mins walk to Dubai mall.
-there was a 24 hours big supermarket and pharmacy right below.
-we were not facing the Burj and roads so it was quiet
-cutleries and utensils were all provided
-they have an in house nurse who came promptly followed by the doctor too.
Cons:
-house keeping was a disaster. Even though it was daily, they kept forgetting to change things like towels, bath mats. They forgot to give us water on a few days.
-reception is not very friendly and helpful. When we asked about the forgotten water, they insisted that only 4 bottles would be given even if they are 6 guests. Ridiculous.
-some mugs were chipped and cracked
-no dish washing detergent and no laundry detergent
-we had to wait forever for the buggy such that we rather walk
- concierge not friendly. Asked for a taxi to the airport and the guy was unsure how to navigate the careem app. Their driver was not around. We were delayed because of that.
