This property was advertised and booked as 5-star residence apartments, but the reality was completely different. Upon check-in, it became immediately clear that the accommodation does not meet 5-star standards in any reasonable sense.
The apartment quality, facilities, and overall experience were misrepresented in the listing. The condition, layout, and services fall far below what was advertised and what guests reasonably expect from a 5-star branded residence. This is a clear case of false or misleading advertising.
Despite raising the issue promptly after check-in, management was uncooperative and refused to provide a refund or a suitable resolution. This left us stuck in accommodation that was not what we paid for.
For a brand like InterContinental / IHG, this experience is extremely disappointing. Guests rely on brand reputation and accurate descriptions when booking. Unfortunately, this property does not deliver on either.
I would not recommend staying here unless you are comfortable with misleading listings and poor handling of legitimate complaints.
