Upon entering the room, for the first time, it was obvious that the cleaners had done their job and left behind a very strong chemical smell that lasted for two days, even with the balcony door, the only source of fresh air, open for most of my stay.
I connected with the support staff regarding the smell and also put in a request to fix the closet door, which was stuck mid way open.
While waiting for maintenance to come, I then discovered that there’s no shower. There is a large tub with a very tiny handheld device, that is mounted low on the wall. The diverter fixture was broken so I could not turn the water on and have it come out the faucet.
To wash my hair I had to fill up the tub halfway and lay down to get it really wet and wash my hair with 2 hands. I ran out of hot water before the tub was even halfway full.
On my first afternoon, I had to wait for maintenance for two hours to have them come and do everything. They were nice, but I was resentful that I had to take my precious visit to be fixing this apartment.
Later that night when I went to take a bath is when I realized that the water wouldn’t turn on properly and had to have maintenance come back around nine in the evening. This was all very disappointing.
What I didn’t realize is that the reception desk for this location does not handle these rentals. For any concerns, you have to text the rental company and they have to locate their person to connect with you to resolve problems. Never again for me
