Great property but bad service. Don't believe the "Garden View" pictures they post. I was given a room with absolutely no view, just a wall, and they said oops sorry we have no other choice today. Promised to update us the next day whether there would be a better room but of course they never called back. During the checkout we raised this issue again and the front desk manager responded "hope we can give you better room next time" which I felt was so fake because what is the chance we would visit this remote dessert resort again after such service?! We forgot 3 sets of swimsuits and only realized this 3 days later on the way to the airport. Why can't they contact us when they found them in the room I can't understand - is that what luxury service supposed to be? I asked if they can send them to our Home country vía post (we will pay of course) - they refused and asked us to arrange the pickup and shipment ourselves. After Jumeira Al Qasr which was so wonderful, this stay at Bab Al Shams was disappointing, not at the resort - ít was beautiful, but at the people here.
