Fantastisk hotell
Fantastisk anlegg i ørkenen. Gode senger. Vi fikk en oppgradering ved innsjekk:) super blide ansatte. Vi prøvde også family garden brunch, utrolig variert. Kjørte også på sanddynene, den turen kunne vart lenger, betalte for en time men varte max 45 min.

Kort vei fra Dubai sentrum (en times kjøring) finner man hotellet midt i ørkenen på autentisk arabisk ørken-følelse. Gammeldags og stilig, men likevel luksuriøst på sin måte. Nydelig for avslapning og drinker i solnedgangen.

Flott familiedager. Bra service og fine omgivelser. Nb delux rom er helt like som superior room, bortsett fra at det er forste etasje, sa spar de kronene. Mat og drikke var veldig bra og fornuftige priser. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Too bad the pool was being renovted...
Very nice hotel, all to our taste, but a big disappointment that the pool was not in use - due to a leakage. The pool was something we had been looking forward to... Staff very polite and serviceminded. Room wonderful with at delicious bath. Bed with best pillows I've had.

Great property but bad service. Don't believe the "Garden View" pictures they post. I was given a room with absolutely no view, just a wall, and they said oops sorry we have no other choice today. Promised to update us the next day whether there would be a better room but of course they never called back. During the checkout we raised this issue again and the front desk manager responded "hope we can give you better room next time" which I felt was so fake because what is the chance we would visit this remote dessert resort again after such service?! We forgot 3 sets of swimsuits and only realized this 3 days later on the way to the airport. Why can't they contact us when they found them in the room I can't understand - is that what luxury service supposed to be? I asked if they can send them to our Home country vía post (we will pay of course) - they refused and asked us to arrange the pickup and shipment ourselves. After Jumeira Al Qasr which was so wonderful, this stay at Bab Al Shams was disappointing, not at the resort - ít was beautiful, but at the people here.

מלון יפה אך המחיר אינו מוצדק
המקום יפה אך אינו תמורה לכסף הרב והעלות הגבוהה של לילה שילמנו הרבה כסף עבור לילה אחד אך אין משהו נוסף שקיבלנו יותר מאשר מלון 5 כוכבים רגיל אפילו שעולה 200$ . הבריכות לא מספיק מחוממות בשביל להיכנס , ואין פעילויות מעניינות , ממש מצטערת שבחרתי להשקיע כל כך הרבה כסף במלון הזה . הנכס יפה מזכיר מאוד את מלונות סיני ששם משלמים רבע ממה שילמנו כאן.

A truly outstanding luxury oasis in the desert. From the moment we arrived (and were greeted with delicious dates and coffee) to departure time, the resort’s outstanding staff made sure that our every need was met and beyond. The property is stunning. We travelled with our two young children, who were treated like rock stars by each and every member of the staff. We dined at Ninive and it was amazing, as were the poolside food and bev. The entire family delighted in the camel ride and falcon show and our own regret was not visiting this property sooner. We will be back.
